YASH'S POV

It's been a week since we returned to Mumbai, and during this time, I've been consumed with a single mission: finding Manik. Despite our relentless efforts-me, Akash, Vicky, and even Abhinav jiju, who has been using all his contacts to assist-we haven't been able to track him down. It's frustrating, and the uncertainty gnaws at me, knowing that something could be in the works, something we're not yet aware of.

When I talk to Janhvi everything seems normal on her end. But I can't shake this terrible feeling in my gut, like something bad is looming on the horizon. It's why I discreetly placed a tracker in her bracelet. It's a precaution, so I can keep track of her movements at home, ensuring she's safe. Varun and Kabir bhai are also being extra vigilant, but my instincts are screaming that something isn't right, that something is about to happen.

As I was deep in thought, my phone rang, and I saw it was Abhi jiju calling. I answered, Yeah, jiju?

He asked, Any lead, Yash?

I sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. Not yet, jiju. There are many men in Jaipur who are searching for him. I even spoke to the Jaipur police; they're on the same search. But I have a doubt-whether he's even in Jaipur anymore.

Abhinav jiju's voice was steady as he asked, why do you think that, Yash?

I've got the best men on the job, and the police are behind him too. They've circulated his photograph all over Rajasthan, and it's been a week without any response. I have a gut feeling that he's not in Jaipur or anywhere near Rajasthan.

He paused for a moment, then asked, Then what's your opinion, Yash? Where do you think he could be?

I hesitated before answering, maybe in Mumbai.

Mumbai? he repeated, clearly surprised. What could be his reason for being in Mumbai?

There's no logical reason, I admitted. It's just my gut feeling. Nothing else.

Abhinav jiju tried to reassure me, Janhvi isn't even in Mumbai-she's in Jaipur. What would Manik do in Mumbai?

You're right, but I can't shake the feeling that something's not right. I feel like I'm missing something, jiju. Like I'm doing something wrong, and I don't know what it is.

We need to be prepared for anything, I continued, my voice reflecting my resolve. We just need to be careful with how we handle this. I don't want to cause unnecessary panic, but we can't afford to be unprepared. And we can't give the press anything to latch onto.

I understand, he replied. If your gut is telling you this, then maybe you should appoint some people to search in Mumbai too. Who knows? You might be right.

I will, jiju.

Where are you now? he asked.

I'm at Akash's place. I'm about to head out.

Good, I'll talk to you tomorrow then he said.

With that, we said our goodbyes and disconnected the call.

As I hung up, the urgency of the situation settled in. We needed to be ready for whatever was coming, and I couldn't let anything happen to Janhvi. I glanced at the time-it was already 10 PM. Looking over at Akash and Vicky, I said, Okay, I need to head out. It's getting late.
