YASH'S POV

After talking to Janhvi that afternoon, I took a small nap. When I woke up, I freshened up and realized I needed to go out. I went into my closet room and saw the hoodie Janhvi gave me this morning. It was blue, the color I hate the most. This was the only blue item in my room, but I thought I'd wear it anyway. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I wanted to take a picture and send it to Janhvi but hesitated, wondering how she would react.

I remembered the jams and strawberries Janhvi had given me and looked around the room, but I couldn't find them. They weren't in the mini fridge either. Since no one dares to come to my floor, I wondered who could have taken them. I went downstairs and saw some strawberries and jam in the dining room. A maid was opening boxes, and I recognized them as the ones Janhvi had given me.

"Who brought these boxes down?" I asked.

"Yuvi ma'am brought them and told me to clean and keep them in the fridge," she replied.

I sighed, took the boxes and jam jars, and turned back to see Badi Ma, Ma, my sisters, and Dadi standing there. I looked at Yuvi and asked, "Why did you come to my room when I was sleeping? And who told you to bring these down?"

"You don't eat strawberries. You hate them. What will you do with them in your room? And how did they even get there in the first place?" Yuvi replied.

"That's none of your business. You have no right to touch anything without asking me," I said.

Ma intervened, "Yash, what are you talking about? She's your sister."

"Even so, she should ask me before taking anything from my room," I insisted.

Badi Ma said, "Yash, you don't like strawberries. Why are you making an issue out of this?"

I was silent, not knowing what to say. F***k, I didn't even know myself what I felt for Janhvi, but I was doing everything she liked.

Yuvi continued, "It's because those were given by Janhvi, right Yash?"

I glared at her to keep quiet and not mention Janhvi's name. Everyone looked at Yuvi, and Dadi asked, "Who is this Janhvi? I've never heard her name."

Before Yuvi could say anything, I said, "Nothing, Dadi. Don't bother. She talks rubbish all the time." I was about to leave when Badi Ma stopped me.

"Yash, stop," I heard her say. I realized there was no going back now. I turned around and saw all the women of our house standing in front of me with folded hands. I stood silently, not saying anything, and they didn't ask any questions either.

My Dadaji, Bade Papa, and Papa saw us, and Bade Papa asked, "What's happening here? so many women against one man - Bechara will he survive?"

I chuckled. Badi Ma looked at Bade Papa and said, "Don't interfere Veer. There's something he's hiding from us."

"I'm hiding nothing, Badi Ma," I replied.

"Then who is Janhvi that Yuvi mentioned just now?" she asked.

"Janhvi," Dadaji, Bade Papa, and Papa repeated. I realized there was no going back. How could I explain when even I had mixed feelings?
