AUTHOR'S POV

The next morning Janhvi got ready in a beautiful dress with Jiya helping her. As Janhvi finished she received a message from Yash saying they had arrived in Jaipur and were on their way to her home. Excited Janhvi told Jiya "Bhabhi they've landed in Jaipur and are heading here."

Jiya smiled warmly. "That's great! I'll go downstairs and see if Maaji needs any help. You look beautiful by the way." With that Jiya left leaving Janhvi to her thoughts. Though she knew everyone well and especially Yash she couldn't shake the butterflies in her stomach. She was feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

After about an hour Janhvi heard a car horn near the gate. She rushed to the window her excitement building as she saw Yash and his family arriving. When they entered Janhvi came downstairs and Yash upon seeing her was mesmerized by her beauty. No matter how many times he saw her it always felt like the first time.

Janhvi greeted everyone by touching their feet showing her respect. The elders were talking and the Singhania family congratulated Jiya and Varun on their good news handing them sweets and gifts. Janhvi's grandmother Subhadra commented on the gifts saying "What's the need for all this Tulsi ji?"

Yash's grandmother Tulsi responded with a smile "We're going to be one family soon and Jiya is already like family. Why not shower her with gifts?"

The Choudhary family smiled warmly in response though Yash noticed that Neelam and Karishma were absent from the gathering. He turned to Varun and asked "Can I use the washroom?"

Varun offered to accompany him but Yash politely declined saying "Please you sit here. I know the way."

Yash made his way upstairs and knocked on Neelam's door. When she opened it Karishma looked shocked to see Yash there. Neelam with a hint of bitterness in her voice said "At least you have the courtesy to call us downstairs but let me tell you we are not coming. That family is trapping you remember that."

Yash sighed and stepped inside closing the door behind him. He spoke firmly "I know who is who and I didn't come here to invite you downstairs. I heard everything you said to Janhvi during dinner last night. Let me make one thing clear: if you want to participate in any events involving me and Janhvi that's fine but I won't tolerate any drama. If I ever hear that Janhvi is in tears because of you you'll see a side of me you won't like. You've always seen the smiling caring Yash but when it comes to Janhvi I'm nothing like that. If she ever cries or if you use any foul language towards her remember that your husband is already in jail and I have the power to make things worse. This is a warning."

Neelam her voice wavering but trying to be strong asked "Are you threatening us?"

Yash smirked "Of course. Do you have any doubts? And consider this a very polite warning. If I ever see you both near Janhvi again with ill intentions, you will experience the worst side of me."

With that he left the room leaving Neelam and Karishma fuming behind him.

Yash came back downstairs and sat down he looked at Janhvi who gave him a smile. That smile had a way of calming all his nerves making him feel at ease. Janhvi's grandmother Subhadra asked "So how are Avanthika beti and Abhinav ji?"

Tulsi Yash's grandmother replied "They are good. They're on their way here from Delhi and should be here any moment now." Subhadra nodded.

Prem was deep in conversation with Randheer and Ranveer while Sakshi was chatting with Sumitra and Anuradha. Soon enough Abhinav and Avanthika arrived and everyone greeted them warmly. The Choudhary family held Abhinav in high regard and knowing he was close to the Singhania family made them even more pleased. Varun and Kabir greeted Abhinav with respect engaging in light conversation.
