Author's POV

In the midst of the joyous news about Jiya becoming her Bhabhi, Janhvi's mind momentarily pushed aside the unsettling incident with Manik. The excitement of welcoming her sister-in-law consumed her thoughts, and she found herself immersed in discussions about wedding preparations, family gatherings.

As the days passed and the wedding plans unfolded, Janhvi became engrossed in helping her family and Jiya with various tasks. She accompanied her mother to choose sarees and jewellery, assisted in arranging the house for the upcoming ceremonies, and eagerly discussed plans for welcoming Jiya into their family. In the whirlwind of activities and celebrations, the memory of the uncomfortable encounter with Mamaji faded into the background. Manik was waiting for the right opportunity to hold his prey.

Despite her initial resolve to share the incident with her mother, Janhvi found herself caught up in the happiness and busyness surrounding Jiya and Varun's wedding. She reasoned that perhaps it was a one-time occurrence, dismissing it as a momentary lapse on Manik's part. Besides, with the wedding approaching and everyone in high spirits, Janhvi didn't want to disrupt the joyous atmosphere with her concerns.

However, deep down, a small part of her remained wary, a nagging doubt lingering at the back of her mind. She made a mental note to remain vigilant around Manik and to trust her instincts if anything similar happened again. Yet, for now, she chose to focus on supporting Jiya and her family during this auspicious time, determined to make the upcoming wedding a memorable and joyful occasion for everyone involved.

As the wedding day arrived, Varun and Jiya were married in a simple yet heartfelt ceremony at Champapur. Jiya bid a tearful goodbye to her family, leaving behind the familiar surroundings of her village to begin a new chapter in Jaipur with Varun and his family.
