Saturday Evening
I went grocery shopping after winning 35-27 to Isiah. I got everything I need to make chicken Alfredo and garlic bread. And some extra groceries for the rest of the week.
I get home and have Isiah put them away so I can get ready. I get in the shower and think back on last night. The taste of Ariyah still lingers on my tongue even after brushing my teeth. The way her body felts underneath me and her moans. Fuck. I don't know how I'm going to deal with tonight. I wonder if she told Crystal. I haven't spoken to her since yesterday during the meeting. Aside from her telling me she's still coming while I was at the store.
I get out the shower and put on baggy black cargo pants with chains on the side, a white graphic tee and my black rings. My curls flow down my head perfectly and I spray on some of my perfume that apparently Ariyah has taken notice of.
I walk out to the living room seeing Isiah on his phone. He's wearing a black Nike shorts set and white durag. "Hey we're kinda matching." I say sitting on the couch next to him.
He looks up and smiles. "No wonder people always think we're twins." He laughs.
I sigh. "I'm nervous Sai." Her turns to me sympathetically. "I mean it's going to be awkward now. At first it was causal flirting but now I've slept with Ariyah. I mean I don't regret it but I know it's going to hurt Crystal when I tell her."
"Hey. It's going to be fine. Malin and I will be here. We will make sure everything goes smooth and nothing happens. You can wait until tomorrow to let her know if you don't want to make it weird." He offers.
I shake my head. "No I'll just be leading her on if I wait. I'll tell her after dinner. That way if she decides to leave she's ate something." I shrug.
"Great plan. Do you want my help with cooking?"
My eyes go wide and I shake my head. "Uh no thanks. I would like them to enjoy my food not get sick from it." I say standing up and preparing dinner.
6 rolls around faster than I expected and a knock on the door alerts Isiah and I. "Oh that's Malin. I got it." He hops up from the couch and rushes to the door. "Hey Babe." He greets her.
"Hey babe. Hey Lex. It smells great in here." She praises taking off her shoes at the door.
I smile. "Thanks. We're just waiting on Ariyah and Crystal to get here."
She shakes her head laughing and sits by me on the couch. "I still can't believe we're having dinner with Crystal Fallon. I swear I thought she hated everyone that crosses her path."
I shake my head. "She's actually really cool. It might just be her at work personality. Tonight you'll see." I praise Crystal. She's actually a great woman. She super funny. And charming.
"Well I sure hope so since you're in a love triangle with her cousin."
Her words make me snap my eyes to Isiah. "Really? You told her?" I snap.
He throws his hands up in defense. "Hey she's my girlfriend and I tell her everything. Plus she made me tell her when I told her Crystal was even coming over."
I roll my eyes and huff. My phone vibrates and I see a text from both Ariyah and Crystal saying they're here. "They're here. Let's do this." I go to open the door and both women who are controlling my life stand at the opposite side smiling ear to ear.
"Hi Alex." They say in unison. That's not weird.
"Hey. Come in please." I step out of the way and let them inside. Crystal walks in first and Ariyah gives me a subtle wink from behind her. I blush. I clap my hands. "So food is ready please be seated."
