Alex POV
*did not rob* they didn't have sex in the shower you freaks

Christmas Dinner

Ariyah and I got dressed after our shower. She said it's black and red attire. So, I'm in an all black tuxedo and red tie that Ariyah did for me. And she's in a red fitted turtleneck dress with a slit up her thigh abd red bottom heels. Both of our hairs are pinned up but hers is in a top bun. We look fine as fuck.

We head down to the dining room to see everyone already seated and conversing. Ariyah and I take our seats in between Crystal and Antonio on my left and Jonathan and Makayla on Ariyahs right. Joseph and Alani are at the heads of the table. Crystals dads, Jonathan's parents and Lauren are sitting on the other side of the table.

Cling cling. Alani takes calls for attention tap her spoon to the champagne glass and stabds up. "I'd like to thank you all for coming to spend time with us. We're family at the end of the day and despite busy schedules and dangerous lives we might live, we always make time to be with family. I'd also like to thank Alex." My eyes find hers abd I feel Ariyah holding my hand. "You have given the best gift known to man. You've given love to our beautiful baby girl. And I thank you for wanting to be apart of this crazy family." She raises her glass and we all follow. "To family."

"To family." We all say in unison and take sips of our glasses. I turn to Ariyah and she kisses me and looks at me in adoration.

Dinner goes amazing with everyone talking and laughing and then we go to the gym where there's a dance set. With lights and seats set up. "May I have this dance?" I ask Ariyah with my hand out.

"You surely may." She takes it and I guide her to the dance floor where everyone is. Her hands go to my shoulder and mine to her hips as we say to the music.

"I talked to Jonathan today about something important baby." I bring up.

"And what could Jonathan say that's important." She jokes.

"Him and Mikayla are wanting to settle down after new years. And they want to start a family." I say.

Her eyes widen in shock. "Oh I never would've thought they'd stop. But I guess it makes sense on why they've been coming home a lot more recently. That's good for them." I nod and swallow nervously. "Baby what's wrong?" She asks looking me in my eye.

"And then he asked if we've talked about having kids if our own and I said we haven't talked about it." I blurt out.

A smirk creeps in her face. "And you're nervous about that baby?" I nod. "Why? Are you afraid I don't want children?" She asks.

I nod. "I don't know if I want them baby. I haven't thought about it. Mainly because I know I can't have them just spontaneously." I explain.

She nods. "Would me wanting them be a deal breaker for you?" She ask and I shake my head at the question. "Well good. Because I do just not now. I enjoy our lives together with just us two right now. I don't want to add an additional person to it just yet." She explains.

I smile hard and kiss her deeply. "I agree baby. I was nervous because it's not something we've talked about and realized it could go either way."

She smiles. "Baby I told you that you can talk to me about things. Even if you think it'll upset me." She says and I nod.

I'm so in love with this woman and cannot wait to marry her and eventually start a family together of our own.

We are all getting dressed to go to Jackson parents house for the annual New Year's party and for once in a long time I'm actually excited. I haven't had a new years kiss for these things since before Jackson and I broke up. But now I get to celebrate it with Alex.
