Alex's POV
MondayToday l,Ariyah and I are finally returning back to the office. So I decided to get an early start on the day and make us breakfast so she can start the day off right. I got dressed in a 3 piece grey suit with my hair in pulled back in to a tight ponytail and my framing strands.
"Mm it smells like my girlfriends amazing cooking in here." Ariyahs says walking in to the kitchen in her grey pencil skirt and black turtleneck and black heels. Her curly hair has a wet look and slicked back.
"I know you're going to be pretty busy today with making your first appearance back to work in a week, so." I make her plate and set it in front of her.
She smiles and breaths in content. "Thank you baby. It's amazing." She pats her lips with her finger and I kiss her softly. We eat and talk more about moving in together. Isiah is actually happy for us and said he can finally have his office back in his apartment when I leave.
"I was thinking about adding an extension to the house to put you an office baby." Ariyah offers. Ariyah lives on the outskirts of the city so she has 2 acres of land. Her house takes majority of it of course with a movie theater built in, 1 office, 3 bedrooms including the master, restaurant size kitchen, living room. She has a full pool and basketball court. Perks of being a millionaire.
"I would love that baby." I say smiling. "I'm really excited about this you know?"
"Me too. I mean we've basically been living together pretty much since we started dating. With me always spending the night over at the apartment and now you living here for the week. I'm happy." She says kissing me again. I take her plate and wash it.
"Alright. Let's go to work." I say and we go to her garage. I am in awe of how much money this woman has sometimes. Her garage is a 4 car and since her Jeep has been totaled it's missing a spot but the other three are filled by a matte black Audi, grey Camaro, and Red and black corvette.
She grabs the keys to the Audi and I open the door for her. "Thank you baby." I get in and I admire the brown leather interior and the smell of vanilla.
"What would you say to me getting a motorcycle?" I ask when we reach a red light.
Ariyahs head snapped to me and her brows furrowed. "Is my driving that bad, you'd rather end it by you?" She jokes.
I laugh and shake my head. "No baby. I just miss the feeling of riding. I honestly feel like I'll be fine. When I rode it was therapeutic. My dad rode and taught me. It made feel closer to him when he died. I think I'm ready baby." I say looking forward.
She starts the car and takes a deep breath. "Um if that's what you want baby. We can go looking for one this weekend. You can fill that missing spot in the garage." She winks. I take a deep breath knowing she's going to support me.
"Thanks baby."
We make it to the office and everyone greeted us like we've been gone for a whole year. But the celebration was short lived with everyone coming up to us and separating us for meetings, interviews, calls, and paperwork.
"What up boss!" Isiah comes in obnoxiously.
"Isiah." I warn.
"Oh come on you gotta cut me slack, I'm sick." He fake coughs.
I roll my eyes. "You will not be using that as an excuse. Now what can I do for you?" I ask.
"Yeah ok." He sits in the chair in front of my desk. "You've both been locked in your offices all day and I'm bored. Ariyah has Malin so I can't even bother her or risk getting cussed out." He whines.
