Alex POV
April 23Ariyah and I were right, the day after our parties everyone was completely fucked up. The girls were hungover off alcohol and the guys and I didn't come off our highs until yesterday.
We're now at Ariyahs parents house for the wedding. We both thought it would be a great idea so that way people had places to sleep after the ceremony and felt comfortable in the safety of home and it felt more intimate.
I'm in one of the two dens getting ready while Ariyah is in the other. Saying I'm excited to see her in her dress is an understatement. I'm sure im going to cry because I've been crying ever since she told me she found the perfect dress when our moms and her went shopping for them in Paris. Yeah the woman went all the way to Paris to get her dress.
The sound of the door opening makes me look behind me in the mirror to see my mom looking at me in awe. "You look beautiful baby." She coos as she takes me in. I'm wearing an all white tux with a rich green bow tie and shoes. Our theme is black and midnight green.
"Thanks mom." I take a deep breath. "I'm nervous." I say honestly.
"Nervous about what exactly? You two love each other more than anyone I know." She says confused with my hesitancy.
"Not nervous she'll run out." I chuckle. "No, just nervous that I'll pass out from her beauty or the fact so many people are watching us." I joke.
She laughs. "Oh honey you'll be fine. Everyone gets those jitters but as soon as you're down that alter and you see her, nothing else will matter and all your worries will cease to exist." My mom says caressing my cheek softly.
I take a deep breath. "Thank you mom. I'm glad you're here."
She starts to tear up and I wipe it away. "He's so proud of you baby. Don't worry about that." She says and she kisses my cheek and walks out.
Knock knock. "Come in." I say.
I see Isiah peaking with eyes covered. "You're decent right?" He asks jokingly.
"Shut up idiot. Yes I'm dressed." I say laughing.
He opens his eyes laughing but they soften and he smiles sincerely. He walks up to me. "You look beautiful sis. You look better in a tux then I do and I got it customly tailored." He compliments.
"Thanks. Is it time?" I ask.
He nods. "You ready?"
I nod. "I am. Thank you for walking me and giving me away." I say as we walk towards the back yard.
"Your kidding right? I'd be heartbroken if I wasn't. See it as the last thing I do for you." He says.
We stop at the door and I turn to him. "Definitely won't be the last. And I guess since you've done so much for me, I guess I can babysit once or twice." I say sarcastically.
We laugh and then we nod to the guys to open the doors to reveal a beautiful decorated backyard that has white flowers hanging on arches and lined up on the chairs of the guests that are in all black (classic mafia type wedding for sure) green aisle carpet, and the wedding arbor, where we will be saying our vows, is black with white flowers covering it. Malin and Ariyah did amazing planning this.
We make it to the end and Isiah fist pumps me and stands behind me as we wait for our wedding parties to join us and then Ariyah. The first couple to arrive is Jonathan and Makayla, then Crystal and Antonio, then Lauren and Jackson and last was Malin being walked by my mom since Isiah walked me. She's in a beautiful green off the shoulders bridesmaids dress that all the other ladies are wearing. My guys are wearing black tuxes with green accents.
"She looks beautiful Sai." I whisper as I see him tearing up. She's been starting to show and I know he's happy and excited to start his family.
"She is, isn't she." He says watching her as she stands on the other side of the alter.
"She looks breathtaking Alex." Malin says with a smile and wink.
I smile and then we all face the doorway from where Ariyah will be walking through. Love of My Life by Brian McKnight starts playing and the doors open and the guest rise to their feet and my breath literally hitches at the sight of my woman. She is in a vintage off the shoulder look white wedding dress with a slit going up her leg and it flows down with a trail and arms and hands covered in white long gloves. Her hair is pinned up in a bun with her famous framing curls. "Wow." Is all I can get out with my voice cracking from crying.
"She really is breathtaking." Isiah says handing me a tissue.
She makes it to the alter and I stare and smile at her in awe. Joseph shakes my hand and whispers in my ear. "Thank you." He says and just those two words warmed my heart.
I take the hand of my beautiful bride and we stand infront of each other. Malin hands her a tissue to save her make up from tears. "You look so handsome baby." She says caressing my cheek and wiping my tears.
"Me? Have you seen yourself? You're stunning my love." I exclaim. I lean forward to her ear. "I cannot wait to kiss you." I say and kiss her cheek and lean back to my place seeing her blushing.
The officiant begins the ceremony and the entire time Ariyah and I are in our own world and it feels like it's just her and I alone.
"When Isiah told me about working for you, I was sure you were going to be a pain in the ass like he described you as." I joke and Ariyah playfully raises her eyebrow at Isiah and everyone laughs. "But as soon as I laid my eyes on you, I knew that would be the least of my worries. I'd have to worry about getting up early just so I look presentable enough for you, I'd have to make sure I'm putting my 110% in everything I do to make you simply proud of me, and I'd have to worry about falling in love with you. That was the easiest thing I could ever do. Falling in love with you Ariyah has been the best and easiest thing I have done in my entire life. You're so easy to talk to, you care so much and love even harder, you're funny as hell, and sexy. But seriously baby, you've changed my perspective tremendously since I saved that elevator for you that day and I thank you for taking a chance on me." I recite my vows and everyone is crying even the officiant.
He clears his throat. "Ms. Fallon you may recite your vows." He says.
She sniffles and then chuckles. "Don't know how I'm supposed to beat that but ok." Everyone laughs. "Alex, you have no idea how hard it was to think of the right words to describe how happy you make me every day. I cried everytime I wrote a sentence down. So, I stopped trying to and I'm going to speak now from the heart while looking at your beautiful face." She grabs my face with both of her hands and we look each other in the eyes. "You have been the pentacle of my happiness the moment you stepped foot in my building. Your shy but self assured presence was fresh and warm. Our first night together was the moment I knew I was in love with you and wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I am still upset that you proposed to me first when I told you I wanted to. But I'm happy that I was worthy enough of for you to want to be the one to ask. There's so many things I love you from your smile, from the way your eyes look so soft when you look at me versus how serious they are with everyone else, how when you are concentrating or nervous you bite the inside of your cheek so I have to hold it so you'll calm down." I realize that's what she's doing now and I smile. "Or simply just how much love you have in your heart for everyone no matter how they've wronged you or me. I love you so much and hope i continue to be deserving of your love." She says and I kiss her forehead dying for the moment I can kiss her lips.
"You bitches are ruining my make up." Malin says wiping her tears and eveyone laughs.
The officiant finishes his part and the entire time I'm staring at Ariyahs lips and back to her eyes to see she's doing the same to me. "You may now kiss your bride." Ariyah and I immediately put our lips together and she has me by the hips while my hands are on the side of her face with my thumbs caressing her jawline. The kiss is passionate and way more intimate then usual. Is this bliss?
We pull apart finally hearing the sounds of cheering and clapping from our guests. "We're married!" She exclaims.
"You're my wife." I say softly and she takes my lips again.
"And you're mine, Mrs. Fallon." She says. I dip her into a kiss and she smiles against my lips. Yep this is bliss.
