Alex's POV

Friday Morning.

This whole week I've been at Ariyahs house and honestly I'm loving it. It's really nice. The kitchen is my favorite place honestly. It's a full chefs dream. Two door fridge, double decker oven, and marble counters all around. It's all black and white and it's so modern. I've cooked every meal she's requested and I have no complaints. I love cooking for her and watching her admire it after every bite.

Living with Ariyah is amazing. She has her own office here so she still works while she's healing and she allows me my privacy and quiet to do the same in the living room. We've had more sex then ever and I'm definitely not complaining. I guess near death experiences boost libido. We barely argue and when we do it always when I tell her we can't have sex when I'm in a meeting with investors. That's literally ALL we argue about.

Right now, Isiah and Malin are over because Ariyah called Malin to help her with work and Isiah found out she had a PlayStation 5 and a 75 inch screen tv. So we're playing 2K while the girls work. "How's it been living with a rich woman?" Isiah asks.

"It's been great honestly. We give each other our space and it's easy in such a big house but when we're together it's like we can't get enough of each other."

"In other words you guys fuck every day." Isiah wiggles his eyebrows.

I roll my eyes. "Yes we do. But it's not just that Sai." I pause the game and fully face him and he copies me. "We talk about things that for some reason we don't talk about over our apartment. She's more carefree here. It's like we're living together for real. Every clothing you bring here, has been moved into my own closet. She allows me full control of the kitchen. I don't know it's different. Like I see myself living here Sai."

His eyes go wide in shock. And then furrow. "You don't want to live with me anymore?" He asks sounding hurt.

I shake my head. "It's not like that Isiah. I love our apartment and I love living with you but if I can start a new life here with Ariyah, I want to do it. I thought you'd be happy for me." I say confused by his reaction.

He scoffs and stands up. "Alex I am happy for you but I wasn't thinking you were just going to leave after a week of living together. You don't know how it's going to be when you guys are both allowed to get back to work at the office. It might be a lot of lonely nights and mornings." He says.

I stand up in front of him. "Sai what's going on? Why all of the sudden you aren't supportive of my relationship with her?" I ask. This isn't like him and I'm worried he's not telling me something.

He shakes his head. "It's nothing. I am. I'm happy for you guys. It was just unexpected news. Um I'm going to go." I try to stop him. "Just tell Malin I had some last minute designs to get done or something. See you next week." He says and grabs his coat and leaves the house.

"What the fuck?" I whisper to myself and drag my hands down my face.

"Hey. Where's Isiah?" Malin says as they walk in.

"He told me to tell you he had some last minute designs or whatever. I don't know." I leave the living room and go to Ariyahs room and shut the door. Anger and confusion tears start to run down my face.

Knock knock. I continue to pace around the room I don't notice Ariyah coming into the room and staring at me. "Baby what's going on?" She asks.

"Something's wrong with Isiah." I stare still pacing.

"Alex sit down before you give yourself carpet burn on the rug." She demands and I sit down but taping my foot on the floor anxiously. "Baby what happened? Did the game get too serious?"
