"𝐈 was at my brothers, I never left that night." Celeste told the cops as her foot tapped against the floor from her being nervous.

If anyone could get locked up for looking guilty, it would be her. She looked as if she was scared, hesitated on answering questions, just nervous and overwhelmed overall.

"Why so nervous? You sure you don't know anything? After all, you two share the same last name, look similar, but have never met?" He asked leaning forward as Celeste tilted her head staring at him.

"If your trying to insinuate that we're sisters, we're not. I don't know that girl from a can of paint, why would I want to murder her." She emphasized the 'I' while staring at the black cop.

She watched closely, watching as he pulled out a file. Opening the folder, he took out four papers slapping them down in front of her, Celeste furrowing her eyebrows looking at him then at the paper.

"Is this you at Saks, yes or no?" He asked as Celeste stared at the paper.

"Clearly." She told him stating the obvious.

"So you lied about meeting her? Who's your friend here? Grandson ring a bell to you?" He asked as Celeste stayed silent.

She didn't know how to answer these questions without incriminating herself or Dayvon. If someone was to take him out, she wanted it to be her.

"I never met her, that's an employee clearly helping him figure out a shoe size. Do you see me speaking to her? No." She told him as the cop looked as if he shitted himself.

He wanted her to crack badly, and solve this case.

"Oh and Grandson? I never heard that name only on shows or in school when people have grandchildren, I'm sure you know my parents left me." She said the last part giving him a smile.

"Dayvon Daquan Bennett? Does that ring a bell? Been trying to catch him for years now. He's a cold blooded murderer, beats every case that gets thrown at him. You better watch and learn who you hang around, you could be next." He warned her sending a chill down Celeste's spine.

She stayed silent thinking if she should say anything else or ask to be dismissed and let go. It was too cold here, and she wanted to speak to Von.

"My time is done here?" She questioned as he gave her a nod a small smirk rested on his face as she backed up her seat before standing up from it.
