Christian found himself in an abandoned mansion with candles dimly lighting the interior. There is red drapery covering every window. The furniture appeared to be refurbished back to old Victorian glory.

"Welcome to my homey abode. And the place where you shall die."

'Still nicer than the subway.' Christian thought to himself as he eyed the doorway.

"Don't even think about it." Graham threatened him. "My shadow can multiply and keep an eye on you."

"How could he keep an eye on me if he's a shadow?" Christian asked before shaking his head. "Anyways, how about humoring me, and give me a five minute head start?"

"You really think you could escape?"

"I'm willing to try."

Graham snorted. "This should be interesting. You're five minutes begins, now."

"Really?" Christian asked before rushing out of the room while Graham's mouth widened into a predatory smile.

Christian is running down the long hallway with silver knights lined up inch by inch. He tried opening a few doors only to find them locked.

When he was tugging at the third door, "Come on. Stupid thing." He yelped as the knob broke off and he flipped backwards.

That's when Graham hovered over him tisking. "My shadow didn't even have to chase you."

"That's because you're not playing fair." Christian spoke. "I mean, all doors and windows are locked. And what's with the Scooby Doo castle decor?"

"Scooby Doo?"

"Look it up after you murder me." Christian hissed out before turning silent.

"Someone's hoping for a quick way out." Graham taunted. "However, I plan on keeping you around for a while. I can ration myself to use you as a food source for as long as I please." Christian clung to his own neck. "Don't think I'll let you walk out as an animal again." Graham made a hand gesture, and the shadows morphed towards Christian. Christian yelped when the shadow grabbed him and dragged him closer to Graham. "Now. Now." Graham held his chin up as Christian struggled in the Shadow's hold. "You look very appetizing."

As he extended his fangs out. "Why me?"

He stared at him. "What do you mean?"

"Well, you knew I was being watched and yet you still went after me. Why take the risk?"

"I already told you why."

"Not really. You called me an imbecile."

"Why do you want to know so badly?"

"I figured if I'm going to die. I might as well know why."

Graham let out a chortle. "You are an odd one. As I've said before, it's pretty obvious why you are here." He frowned. "It was all going well until you kept escaping me, so whether I get caught or not, I'm going to make you suffer first."

Before Christian could speak, Graham plunged his sharp fangs right where the collar bone is. He let out a pained scream as he felt the bone being crushed between teeth. Tears escaped as Christian attempts to ride out the pain. Little by little his strength began to wane, and when he was on the verge of passing out, Graham pulled away with blood covering his mouth.

"Your blood is superb." He admitted. "I will be enjoying it as much as I can."

"Orange juice." Christian whispered weakly.

"What was that?"

"Orange juice." Christian repeated.

"I do not carry such a drink. Why would I?" As an answer, Christian squinted his eyes tightly as he began to feel lightheaded. "Hey. Hey." Graham grabbed him roughly. "Don't you dare. We're not even close to finishing yet."

Feeling ill, Christian's vision began to blur and pictured Jason in front of him. Remembering what Charles told him in the bathroom, he mumbled, "I love you."

Graham was taken back. "What did you say?"

"I love you." He shakily cupped Graham's face before closing his eyes and going limp in his arms.

"Hey. Hey!" Graham cursed before lying him down on the floor. Checking for a heartbeat, he feels it thrumming slowly. "For heaven's sake." Biting his own tongue, he felt blood seeping out as he locked lips with Christian. The bit of blood made its way down his throat. And when he deemed enough was given, he pulled away making Christian cough.

"I just needed some sugar." Christian complained as he was catching his breath.

"What about you loving me?" Graham questioned.

"I thought I was dying and was saying what I couldn't before."

Graham felt his heart beating in his chest. "Impossible." He glanced at Christian sprawling on the floor looking at him sorrowfully. "A monster like me could never love." He gritted before summoning his shadow. "Take him to the guest bedroom. I shall head out to get accommodations for this idiot." The shadow did as told as he stomped down the hallway.
