Christian found himself on the rooftop of a building without a muffler and straps on.
"What the hell just happened?" Jason's voice asked.
"I happened." They looked up to see Graham standing before them.
"Graham!" Christian shouted, and jolted when Jason was lifted off the ground. "Smokey!"
"So, this is the man whom you said is the love of your life?" Graham grabbed Jason roughly by the face to take a better look at him.
"Jason!" Christian began to run but stumbled painfully as his bite marks glowed crimson again.
"Nuh. Uh. Uh." Graham wagged his finger at Christian. "You are going to stay still while I get my revenge."
"Revenge for what?"
"For making me think that you cared for me. Now, just sit back and enjoy the show."
"You bastard." Jason cursed at Graham as he continued to observe him.
"What makes you tick?" Graham asked casually as he squished his face roughly before digging his nails deep into Jason's flesh and slowly scratch where blood is dripping.
"Leave him alone." Christian told the blood drainer. "He's innocent. I'm the one you're angry with."
"Then you won't be able to suffer the way I want you to."
"You coward." Jason hissed at Graham. "Face me like a real man. Not hiding behind your freaking shadow like a wimp." Graham punched him, and Jason's nose spurted blood.
"I'll fight however I want." Graham threw punch after punch.
"Stop." Christian pleaded. "Jason."
"Don't you dare." Jason threatened Christian despite the pain. "I swear if you give him the satisfaction he wants."
Graham threw a punch to Jason's stomach. "Jason." Christian teared up as he watched Graham beat Jason senseless.
'Christian.' he heard John's voice in his mind.
'Please help us.' Christian told him telepathically. 'Graham's got us trapped on the roof of some business, and is hurting Jason.'
'Do you see any landmarks that could help us know where you are?'
Christian glanced around frantically as he attempted to block out what was going on. 'I see a KFC across from us.'
'You're doing well. Anything else?'
'There's a bright neon sign to my far right corner. It's a palm tree. Oh, it's that hotel with a water park inside of it. Wait, we're still at the supernatural hospital, aren't we?'
'We're on our way.'
'Please hurry.' The sound of coughing interrupted Christian. Looking up, he sees Jason coughing up blood as red stained Graham's fists. "Please stop." Christian begged him. "I can't take more of this."
Graham gave Christian an evil grin. "Too bad for you that I am just getting warmed up." He snapped his fingers and his shadow dropped Jason like a sack of potatoes.
"Bad smokey. Bad." Christian said sternly. The shadow growled at him menacingly. "Look." Christian spoke to Graham. "Despite being a psychopathic killer, you have enough good qualities to land yourself that special person."
"Your words mean nothing to me." Jason grabbed his legs and made him tumble down. "You dare." They wrestled each other as Graham's shadow struggled to get a hold of Jason without hurting its master.
"Hey. Hey!" Christian tried gaining their attention but to no avail. Jason is punching, kicking, and biting while Graham punches, pulls, and jabs. "Where is everyone?" He asked before wincing with his bite marks. He feels his body moving against his will. "Oh no. No. No." He stomped over as if he was Frankenstein and approached the group and got tangled in the fight when he tried grabbing Jason.
"You are an imbecile." Graham insulted Christian.
"Meanie."
"Watch it." Jason growled.
All of a sudden, a bright light blinded them and Graham's shadow dissolved. Then a group of men dressed in black tackled the stunned group. "Unhand me!" Graham bellowed out as he squirmed in the man's grasp.
"Guys!" Christian yelled in relief.
"Sorry we're late." Sarah spoke. "We had to be sure you guys were up here, and how to jump in."
Jacob observed Christian and Jason. "You two need a doctor. You especially." He pointed at Jason.
"You're telling me. My face stings like hell." Jason told them.
As Christian and the others were speaking, Graham stomped on his apprehender's foot, and he released him. Graham took a silver dagger out of his blazer and charged at Jason.
Noticing this, Christian jabbed the guy holding him and ran. Everyone watched in horror as Graham was about to stab Jason, when Christian took the hit for him. Blood gushed as the dagger was imbedded into Christian's chest.
Graham laughed hysterically as one of the security officers tackled him to the ground. "You are a naive fool."
"Christian." His family rushed to him and caught him as he fell.
"We need medical personnel on the roof." One of the men talked on his walkie talkie.
"Let me at him!" Jason yelled as he tried to go after Graham.
Graham smirked. "You have not seen the last of me. I will find a way out. And I'll make every single one of you pay with your pathetic lives."
"You son of a bitch!"
Graham cackled loudly as Christian's siblings are trying to keep a stunned Christian conscious. "Bro. Can you hear us?" Jessie asked as Ashley patted his cheeks. They grew concerned when his honey-colored eyes began to change red.
"Too bad I couldn't have killed you both at the same time." Graham told Jason. "However, you'll be the first one listed on my murder list." He started coughing.
"No more tricks." The guard barked at Graham before blood covered his face making him grimace in disgust.
Everyone watched as Graham collapsed onto the ground as he continued coughing up blood. "What is happening to me?" Graham rasped out. He glanced at his hands on the red stained pavement, and noticed something squirming underneath his skin. "What the?" He began to feel itchy and started scratching frantically where blood oozed every time his nails made contact with his skin.
Out of nowhere, Christian emerged by his side with his eyes glowing red. "Surprise." He made Graham jump in fright.
Christian's siblings looked where he was before Graham's fit caught their attention to see he escaped their clutches. The guards advanced towards Christian when they started gasping for air.
"How the hell are you doing this?" Graham asked before trying to regain control of him, but then screamed painfully as his scratches glowed crimson like Christian's bite marks did.
"Not so fast."
Graham gritted his teeth painfully before smiling a bit. "I knew there was something different about you. Help me get rid of these pests, and I can make it worth your while." He struggled to breathe like the guards.
"Unfortunately for you, the only thing I want from you is your blood."
Graham snorted at him. "Like you have enough balls to kill me."
"You're referring to my soft side. I am the beast that rarely comes out."
"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." Graham rasped before gurgling.
"Eternal God, have mercy on your servant, and cleanse his soul by the precious blood of Jesus." Christian began to pray as a big blood puddle began to form underneath Graham.
"Stop that!" Graham yelled before groaning as he felt lightheaded. "It can't be." He whispered as his body began to disintegrate and his blood made its way over to Christian's body where it absorbed and pushed the dagger out where the wound healed.
"Amen." Christian finished the Psalm, and all that was left of Graham, was a red smear on the roof. Christian's eyes returned to their normal color, and he collapsed.
"Christian!" His siblings rushed to his aid as the security guards regained their breathing.
