"So, tomorrow night, we're having a little party, and we want to invite you all!" James exclaimed excitedly."Dude, I was gonna say that!" Conor chimed in, gently pushing James.
Everyone laughed, and so did I. They sounded a bit ridiculous, but it was interesting, and the whole situation just seemed to make Professor Andrew even more upset, leading him to sigh again.
"Is that all you had to say?" Professor Andrew asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, sorry, sir-we'll send you the address shortly," Conor quickly replied.
"No, not during class!" Professor Andrew shot back.
"Okay, not during class, but later, after class. And don't forget to bring drinks!"
Everyone burst into laughter. They sounded like a bunch of idiots, but it was fun to see them annoy the teacher until he almost kicked them out of the classroom.
For some reason, after that moment, I started paying more attention to Conor.
I was sitting beside the window at the back of the class while he was on the opposite side in the front row. I never really noticed how handsome and charismatic he was until that day.
Maybe it was because I usually had my eyes glued to my books rather than on the people around me.
He was something... he was interesting.
