Jason wasn't much for high school parties. But Leo had insisted he go and had practically dragged Jason along.

Now here he was in the middle of a crowd of half-drunk teenagers, completely sober and completely alone.

He spotted a group of kids who were huddled in the corner and didn't seem too tipsy, so he decided it was worth a try to at least walk over to them.

The kids were playing a game of spin the bottle. Jason had never played but he knew the rules. Whoever the bottle landed on; the spinner had to kiss them. No backing out.

Well, I am supposed to be having fun, Jason thought. Finally, he decided. What the hell? It couldn't hurt. It was just a game after all.

Jason joined the circle and a kid to his left elbowed him. "Ready for some fun?" he asked.

Jason shrugged. "I guess."

The kid studied him. "You go next," he declared.

Jason blinked at him. "Me?"

The kid rolled his eyes. "No, the guy behind you, of course you!"

Jason's cheeks heated up, but he spun the bottle anyway.

It landed on a girl who appeared to be Native American. She had short, choppy brown hair with a few small braids down her shoulders. Her eyes seemed to change color every few seconds, and Jason couldn't help but stare at her.

"You gonna kiss me or what?" the girl asked.

Jason blushed and the girl grabbed hold of his shirt and pulled him closer. Their lips met and Jason's mind went blissfully blank. He closed his eyes as the kiss went on longer than it had to.

Finally, they broke apart. Jason blinked at the girl.

"Not a bad kisser," she commented with a smile. Jason couldn't help but smile back at her.
