Annabeth POV

I couldn't wait for the school day to be over. Normally I love school, being the daughter of Athena and everything. I love learning things. But today . . .

This probably needs a bit of back story. You see, it's February and it's getting close to Valentine's Day. Apparently, almost every boy (and a few girls) have had a crush on me for the longest time, and they've been asking me out all day. Hopefully, since it's the end of the day, there won't be anymore-

"Hey, Annababe," said a sickeningly familiar voice. (A/N:🤮)

I spoke too soon.

Philip Jacobs, the school jock who everyone absolutely adores, was a tall boy with blonde hair and brown eyes. He's tall and well built (but I prefer Percy's leaner swimmer's body) with a chiseled face. From an objective perspective, I can see why girls could find him appealing.

"I was thinking," he continued, in what he must have considered a seductive voice. Honestly, I was surprised that he was capable of thinking. "That you could stop by my house tonight. My parents won't be home." He smirked. "I already know that you're hopelessly in love with me."

"How so?"

"I sit behind you in biology," he said. "You're always writing AC+PJ with hearts all over your notes."

"I have a boyfriend," I said, closing my locker.

"Well, one night with me and you'll forget all about him," said Philip, grinning.

Before I could react, a fist flew into Philip's face, and he was sent to the ground. I looked at the person who the fist belonged to.

"Percy!" I exclaimed. "Why'd you punch him?"

Percy looked confused. "I thought-"

"I wanted to punch him!" I finished, cutting him off in the process.

Percy blinked at me then looked at Philip who was still on the floor, groaning in pain. Percy got a thoughtful look on his face and said, "I'll be right back." Then he ran off to Gods know where.

-----------*Ten minutes later*-------------

Percy pulled on tied the other end of the rope to the railing of a nearby staircase. If you were wondering what was on the rope, it was struggling Philip Jacobs who was now suspended a few inches above the ground.

Percy walked back over to me and pat Philip's shoulder.

"There," he said, with a lopsided grin. "Now, you can use him as a punching bag."

"MMMMM?!" said Philip. Oh, I forgot to mention, Percy gagged him as well.

I doubled over laughing before throwing my arms around my boyfriend and kissing him. Percy is the best boyfriend ever.
