I'm still thinking where should I go. I'm not very active in clubs, especially sports, but since it's required, I think I'll just join the academic club. I'm more interested in learning about my field of study, which is business.
"Today, we're going to tackle the marketing strategies that will help your business to grow..." my professor begins as my mind starts to wander again.
I cannot focus on my class because I'm always thinking of him. I know I should stop thinking about him or his whereabouts, but I can't help but worry.
How can a third-year college student and the president of the school's supreme student government be absent for the first week of school?
She never fails to contact me everyday. And that's the reason why we became close.
And what's more, she keeps inviting me to their grand house. I don't want to go back to that house again.
There are times when I really want to ask Sierra about her older brother, but that might weird her out. Or maybe I'm just overthinking.
I sighed as I packed my things on the desk. I tapped the guy next to me who had dozed off during class.
"Damien, it's lunchtime. Let's go," I called out gently as I nudged him.
Oo, kaklase ko parin siya.
He growled and slowly lifted his head, blinking groggily and rubbing his eyes to shake off the sleep. He yawned and fixed his hair before walking out ahead of me.
Ali is currently unavailable because she's busy with her projects. Maybe that's why Damien seems so lazy these days, because he can't be with her.
"Greyson!" Sierra shouted my name enthusiastically, drawing the attention of other students.
She looks so pretty in her school uniform-a neatly pressed white blouse tucked into a pleated navy skirt that fell just above her knees. Her socks were pulled up to her calves, and she wore polished black shoes.
"Let's eat lunch together!" she invited, linking her arm with mine. I just realized we're about the same height.
"Sure," I smiled. "But I'm with a friend, can he come with us?" sabay turo kay Damien na lukot ang mukha na nakatingin sa amin habang may dalang pagkain.
Not even Sierra's beauty fazes him.
"Okay! I'll also be FaceTiming Austin while we eat. Would that be okay with you both?"
I nodded while Damien took his seat at our usual spot. I saw him pull out his phone before I turned to Sierra to order food.
Probably updating Ali, I guess.
Buti pa silang dalawa, they have someone to share their days with and someone who cares about them.
Must be nice to be born straight, huh?
