Your POV

'I'm sorry Jiyū. I didn't get our freedom at all'

"Jiyū!!" I shouted and sat up. I groaned and looked at my stomach, the wound was sewn shut.

I looked at my chest to see if my tattoo was still there, it wasn't. The tattoo on my chest was for Jiyū but now that he was gone, so was the tattoo.

'So it wasn't a dream after all....' I thought.

I looked around and saw that I was on bed. I groaned and saw that wearing a new clothes, beside me was my cloak and my other clothes. They were cleaned and folded neatly.

I looked around again and saw that I was in a tent. The curtain of the tent opened and Petra walked in, carrying a small box with her.

"Hi" she said softly, I replied with silence and looked down at my hands.

I saved her family so that mines would die.

"I'm here to change your bandages" She said and set down the box, opening it and taking out a clean strip of white clothe.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"Well... You did save all of us. Levi ordered you to be tended for your wounds" She said.

'They're going to kill me anyways' I thought.

"Can you lift up your shirt?" Petra asked, I slowly lifted up my shirt to reveal my stomach.

Petra slowly cut off the bandages with a scissor and threw it away. She brought a small bottle and a cotton ball, drenching it.

"This is going to hurt a lot, just saying" she said pressed it on my wound. I bit my tongue, suppressing my pain.

"Wow I'm surprised" she said as she wrapped the cloth around my torso. I looked at her.

"I mean, I'm surprised because this bottle is a very painful medicine but it helps stop bleeding" She explains, I nodded my head and pulled down my shirt.

Petra took the box and walked to the door but stopped in front of it.

"I'm sorry but at first I thought you were a man but after I looked under your hood...." Petra trailed off.

"I'm saying that you're really beautiful" She said.

"Thanks" I said and laid down.

I laid down for minutes, staring at the ceiling and remembered Jiyū's last moments.

A few hours passed and Petra came back again to change my bandages.

"Petra" I said.

"Yes?" She replied.

"Where is my dragon?" I asked quietly.

"Oh... We brought its body with us. It's laying in the wagon" Petra said.

"He" I said.

"What?" She asked.

"I said Jiyū is a male, not an it" I said coldly.

"Oh I'm sorry" She quickly said. I replied with nothing and awkwardly left the tent.

I waited for a while and looked out of my tent. I saw other tents around mines but nobody was around and the moon was high in the sky.

I limped around and finally found the wagon that Jiyū was in. I took a knife that I found and pulled out a black scale, putting it in my pocket.

I took a shovel from the wagon and started shoveling at a patch of dirt which was twenty meters away from the camp.

I dug so much that I didn't realize morning had come. I grunted and pressed against my wound, I bit he inside of my cheek and crawled out of the ditch.

I limped back to the wagon where Jiyū laid.

"Tch"

I turned my head and saw Levi.

"What the hell are you doing?" He said.

"What does it look like" I said and dragged Jiyū's body off the wagon. I grabbed his body and started dragging him away to the hole.

Sure he weighed tons but it was my fault that I got him killed. I could've brought the wagon to carry him but I had to do this.

"Tch, I can't let you do that" Levi said and stood in my way.

"Oh yea I forgot. You're an dragon hunter, you can't be rewarded unless you bring a dead dragon back to the king" I said and walked up to him. I grabbed his sword and placed it in his hands.

"Tch filthy" He muttered, grabbing a cloth and wiped his sword clean.

I kneeled down and grabbed the point of the sword and aimed it for my neck.

"You might as well kill me too" I said, gripping the blade and it made my hand bleed.

"All you dragon hunters are killers" I said darkly. "You only hunt dragons to be rewarded yet you never knew how a dragon feels" I said.

"Dragons don't feel anything" he said and raised to sword so it touched my neck.

Levi raised the sword up high and was about to kill me.

"You know why I didn't kill you when we first met?" I said and looked down while Levi swung down the sword.

"It's because every one has a life and I didn't want to take it away from others..." I whispered and closed my eyes.

I didn't feel any pain, I looked up and saw that Levi's blade was inches off my head.

"Tch" he said and pulled back his sword. I gave him a curious look.

"You shouldn't blame yourself on what happened to Jiyū. You can't always blame on what happened in the past, you have to accept it" Levi said.

I stared at him and bowed down to him.

"Thank you" I said.

~Time Skip~

After a whole day, I had finally Jiyū a grave with the help of Petra, Auruo, Gunter, Erd and Levi.

"Thank you" I said to Levi and bowed again to him.

"Tch, what are you doing brat?" He said.

"You're not like any other dragon hunter. You understand life and you let me bury my own dragon... You even saved my life" I said quietly.

I grabbed something that was wrapped in cloth and gave it to Levi.

He unwrapped it and saw two black horns. One was plain and the other was beautiful decorative and had carvings on it.

"I know being a dragon hunter is your job and you need money in order to live. Accept these rare black horns" I said still bowing down to me.

"Tch, why are you giving them to me" Levi demands.

"I'm respecting you and now I'll return the favor to you" I said.

"Tch, I don't need another brat to babysit. I have enough on my hands" he said.

"Please..." I said softly.

"I have no where else place to call home" I said.

I looked up to Levi who stared deeply into my eyes.

'What's his answer?!'
