"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY DRAGON!"
'There's more dragon riders' I thought.
"Eren!"
More shouting comes. Sounds like there's a group of people. I slowly make my way to the noise, carefully looking through the bushes.
I see a boy with brown hair pinned down by a dragon hunter with blue armor.
Theres a small pit of fire and on my right there's a small group of people who look about the same age as the boy being pinned.
The small group of people are outnumbered against twenty dragon hunters with their weapons at their throats.
I continue to look around and see a dragon dead on the ground. It looks like it's been dead for awhile though. In the far left corner of my eye I see cages full of different kinds of dragons.
"You're lucky we're not killing you now." The dragon hunter chuckles, making his comrades laugh with him.
"I won't let you get away from this.." The brown haired boy said. "Dragons have feelings too. They're a part of us and we're a part of them." He coughs up blood.
"Eren..." A girl said. She had black raven hair and gray eyes, she reminded me of Levi.
I shook my head, making me focus. I looked around to see if there was anymore dragon hunters. All of them were distracted by the group of people.
'This is my chance!' I thought, I crawled away silently away from the bushes and slowly made my way to the cages.
The dragons continued to rustle their wings and whimpers came one of the dragons. As I walked closer they all sensed me, their eyes darted at me and began to growl.
"You have to trust me." I said, showing my dragon tattoo on my forearm. "Please. You have to trust me." I said, staring into one of the dragons eyes.
The dragon I was staring at has green scales and leaf like ears. Suddenly I was looking into nothing.
Confusingly I kept staring but it look like the cage was empty. Look.
After a few seconds, ripples of green appeared and the dragon was back in its cage.
'Camouflage...' I thought.
I looked at another one and saw it had red scales and pale yellow scaly stomach. It's stares at me and its scales glow red, making the chains hot red but the chains still stayed intact.
'I only need to bring one dragon out to save them.' I thought. 'But which dragon?'
"Hey!"
I froze and shrunk back into the darkness, hoping they haven't found near.
"The dragon disappeared again!" One of the dragon hunters claim.
"Baka." A dragon Hunter hits him. "It's just camouflage, just ignore it." He said then they both reverted their attentions to the small group of people.
"All of you get on the ground. Or else." The dragon Hunter threatened, grabbing a knife and placing it by the boys neck.
The girl with the black hair mutters something under her breath and her fists clench. But she was the first to lay on the ground with her hands on her head.
The others looked at each other but did the same, laying down with their hands on their heads.
'Im running out of time...' I thought and quickly sneaked into one of the tents.
After rummaging through the tent I finally found the key that Dragon hunters use to lock up the dragons.
I sneak back out and crawling back to the dragons, going to the dragon that was able to camouflage.
I fumbled out the key and place it in, making a small click. I look back at the dragon hunters but they seem busy chaining up the dragon riders.
'Please don't kill me.' I beg and looked into the green dragons eyes. I placed my hand on its muzzle and the unlocked the chain that kept its mouth shut.
The green dragon glares into my eyes, tilting its head to take a good look at me.
Since it didn't kill me with its breath, I moved to its ankle chains and unlocked them.
"Come on..." I whisper, opening the cage door wide. The dragon takes steps out, looking at the group of dragon riders and whimpers.
I silently climbed onto its back, cursing under my breath because it didn't have reins or a saddle which made my butt hurt from the scales.
'I need to get Levi...' I thought.
"When are we going?" One of the dragon hunters asked.
"When dawn comes, we'll leave and be on our way to the king." One of them replied.
'When dawn comes? That's only a few hours from now.' I thought in deep thought.
If I flew back to Levi, sooner or later the dragon hunters would notice the cage opened and set up a trap or immediately move their location. If I attack now... There's a chance where I'll lose. And plus.... I can't fly in my physiological condition...
'I have to go back to Levi. I can't do this alone...' I thought. 'I have to try to fly....' I thought.
"The cage is open! One of the dragons have escaped!"
"Shut, I took too long deciding." I mutter to myself. "It's better now than never." I thought and the dragon rose into the air, it's green wings beating loudly.
We rose into the air, flying away from the camp until...
~Clank~
"Damn!" I shouted, looking back and saw that thick chains were wrap on the green dragons leg.
"Pull!"
We were dragged through the air and back on the ground, surrounded by dozens of dragon hunters.
More chains wrapped on the green dragons neck and a metal net was thrown over us.
"Kill her."
I shut my eyes and froze.
I could hear the chains rattling as the green dragon struggled to get out. I could hear laughs from the dragon hunters and the dragon riders yelling.
'Help... Levi...' I thought, holding my head.
~Boom,
That's when half of the camp blew up in flames...
