Chapter 14 ~ Hide & Seek

Your POV

A aching pain shot through my head, I slowly sat up and rubbed my temples and looked around. My body was sore all over and I had a terrible migraine.

"What the hell happened?" I asked myself then thought about the events that happened.

I looked around and saw that I was in a cave.

'That... Short idiot' I thought and stood up. I leaned on the cave wall to support myself. I slightly walked down to the entrance of the cave and saw that Levi was fixing his saddle on Ai, unaware of my presence. I looked down and saw a rock, half the size of my palm.

I kneeled down, picking it up then threw at Levi's head. It hit the middle of his head....

He slowly turned around and gave me a death glare...

I immediately regretted the decision of throwing the rock......

My lip quivered as he began walking towards me. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"Wait" I said and he stopped walking.

"Are you a fast runner?" I asked.

"I guess" he said and slightly tilt his head, wondering why I asked that question.

"Why are you asking?" He demanded.

"Take a guess" I said in a high pitch and sprinted out of the cave. I placed my back on the wall and quickly and carefully slid my body away from the waterfall.

"Oi!"

I looked up and saw Levi riding on Ai, glaring at me. I whistled and Owari came and flew by, I jumped onto his back.

"Let's get out of here before Levi catches me" I pleaded, Owari roared out and flew faster.

I looked behind me and saw that Levi was catching up. I bit my lower lip but a idea popped into my head. I leaned over Owari's ear, whispering.

"I'm sorry!" I yelled out to Levi, in that moment Owari turned around and blew his fire but purposely missing. Ai quickly dodged by going into the forest, Owari blew his fire down at the forest and we flew away.

'Thank goodness, I thought I was dead'

I knew Levi was going to be fine. Owari landed by some trees and I climbed off of him. I climbed off of him and stretched my arms and legs.

"Owari, I'll be at the village. Make sure you distract Levi and doesn't come to the village" I said, Owari nodded and flew away and I began walking back to the village.

When I got there I went straight back to my old room where it had most of my belongings. I packed my things and slinger it over my shoulder.

'Maybe I should hide here until Levi cools off?' I thought and nervously laughed. I walked around the village and walked into a bar, sitting down alone.

"Hello can I get you anything?"

That voice seems familiar, I looked and saw Petra.

"Petra?" I said and she smiled, pulling me into a hug.

"F/n!!" She yelled into my ear.

"You work here now?" I asked.

"Yup! I'll get you something, it's on the house!" She said and quickly ran off. The door of the bad swung open and a familiar obnoxious voice rang out.

"Tch, brats"

I rolled my eyes and looked. In the doorway was Auruo, behind him was Gunther and Erd.

"I haven't seen you guys in a while" I said and they diverted their attentions to me.

"Well if it isn't the brat" Auruo sneered as I rolled my eyes at him.

"How have you guys been?" I asked Gunther and Erd.

"We've been doing good, ever since the incident, we found good jobs" Gunther explained.

"That's good" I smiled at them both. Petra walked out and brought me a plate full of f/f.

"It's the newest dish we serve" Petra said.

"I love these!" I said and stuffed my face.

"You tried them before?" Erd asked and I nodded my head in reply.

"There isn't many bars that make these but my family would always make them for me!" I said cheerfully.

~BAM~

The door slammed opened and revealed a Levi using his death glare to scan the room. His gray stormy eyes stopped at a figure...

Me...

I cursed under my breath and gave levi a innocent but nervous smile. I looked around a saw a window. I opened it up and jumped through it.

"F-F/n? Why are you running?" Petra yelled out.

"I'm running away from Levi!" I yelled back and sprinted. I looked behind me and saw that Levi was running also.

"You got to be kidding with me!" I whined and sprinted even faster but Levi was catching up.

I looked around and saw a man guiding his horse horse, I jumped on it and rode it away.

"H-Hey!" The man yelled.

'Sorry....' I said mentally and kept riding. I looked behind me and saw that Levi vanished from my sight. I rode into the forest then tied the horse into a branch.

I climbed on a tree and looked around, I sat on the branch and slumped. I could tell that I was going to be sore all over my body tomorrow.

'I don't think he'll find me anytime soon' I thought.

"Tch"

'YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING' I mentally raged. I turned my head and saw Au and Levi. I stood up and jumped off my branch, I quickly grabbed onto a branch before hitting the ground.

When my feet touched the dirt, I sprinted with all my might. I dodged branches, jumped over ditches and slid underneath a fallen tree but Levi didn't lose sight of me.

I kept running until I ran at a dead end, a cliff with thousands of feet if you took a step off the cliff. My breathing was ragged and my legs were about to give out.

I turned around and saw Ai landing and Levi climbed off her.

"I give up" I said and sat at on the ledge, my legs were hanging. Levi sat next to me without a word.

"You win" I said and leaned my head on his shoulder.

Third POV

"You win" F/n said and suddenly put her head on his shoulder.

"Tch, I always do" Levi muttered. A few minutes of silence passed and Levi looked at you.

You were tiredly sleeping sound fully. Levi sighed and picked you up, holding you bridal style. He climbed on Ai and flew back to the cave behind the waterfall.

When he reaches the cave he set you down in bed and his forehead pressed against yours as you slept.
