Chapter 11 ~ I Think

Your POV

"You're dragon rider...." I said astonish, Levi eyes widened and he looked at his arm.

"What the fuck? This wasn't here before" he said and looked at his arm. I walked up to him but the black dragon stood in my way and we both glared at each other.

It's blue eyes grew red and Owari leaped in front of me, protecting me.

"Levi call your dragon off" I said firmly.

"I don't know what the hell is happening" Levi said, confusingly. I walked up to him while Owari and the black dragon were glaring at each other.

When I was a few feet from him, the black dragon turned its head to me and opened its mouth. Levi walked in front of the black dragon and shook his head.

The black dragon grunted and laid beside Levi. I sighed and walked up to Levi without being blocked by his dragon. I grabbed his arm and looked at it.

It was definitely a dragon rider tattoo.

"Congratulations, you have become one of the very few hundred dragon riders in this world" I said.

"Tch, just tell me what happened" Levi demanded.

"I can't really explain it but..." I closed my eyes, thinking of the possibilities.

"I think it's because you accepted it and it accepted you" I said.

"What" Levi snapped back.

"Just think about it. It never really did kill you in the first place and it came back for you" I explained.

"Being a dragon rider doesn't mean riding and taming dragons. Its about making a bond with them, so when you first touched it's muzzle, that was basically starting a bond with them" I said.

"And that's how you got the tattoo, the tattoo represents your friendship" I said.

"How do you get rid of it?" Levi said uncomfortable as his dragon nuzzled on him.

"You can't, unless you want to kill it?" I said. Levi looked at the dragon who was staring at a blooming flower, I laughed and touched its glimmering black scales.

Levi sighed.

"I have another brat on my hands" Levi said and it made a wide smile on my face. I winced and collapsed slightly but Owari caught me.

"F-F/n?!" Petra shouted. I looked around and saw that the others wouldn't come any closer.

"It's fine, let's go back to the village" I said but they wouldn't come any closer to us and the dragons.

I walked towards Petra and grabbed her hand, dragging her near Owari. Petra pulled away and I clutched my side, groaning in pain.

"Oh my gosh are you ok?" She asked and placed my arm over her shoulders. I smirked and dragged her again to Owari.

"H-Hey! You liar" she stated.

"I'm not" I said while clutching my side. Petra looked at my side and let me drag her. We walked by Owari and sat beside him and slumped in his body, Petra stood standing and shook slightly.

"He won't hurt you" I said and Owari leaned his head closer to her, smelling her scent then affectionately nuzzled her. Petra smiled softly and pet his scales.

"Dragons aren't monsters unless you tend to think that" I said and climbed on Owari.

"We...We should get back" I said, breathing heavily. Petra and the others looked uncertain.

"Trust me" I said and stuck my hand out for her. She nervously nodded her hand and took my hand, climbing onto Owari.

"Oi, what should I do with it" Levi said, looking at the black dragon. I smiled and chuckled.

"First, figure out if it's a boy or girl and figure out a name for it then I'll teach you how to fly on it" I said.

"But first, I'm taking the injured back to the village. I can only take three people at a time because Owari is still growing" I said and pat him.

"Get on Erd" I said and Erd sighed and climbed on, nervously sitting on Owari.

"You guys better hold on to something" I said and Owari lifted into the air.

"AHHH!!!" Erd and Petra screamed into my eardrums. I rolled my eyes and winced.

"Look" I said in a calm voice, turning my head behind me. Petra and Erd opened their eyes slightly then their pupils expanded.

The night sky was glittered with shimmering bright stars. The moon was lighting the forest below, making it look like a painting.

"I knew you guys would like it" I smiled.

I landed in the forest again, helping Petra and Erd walk back to the village. When I got there I had a doctor tend and bandage my wound.

"See you guys tomorrow" I said and ruffled each of their hair.

"Thank you F/n, I never knew flying was incredible" Petra said and I placed a finger over my mouth.

"Shh it's a secret that other people don't know" I said jokingly and smiled.

"Get better soon" I said and waved them goodbye. I walked over to the forest, finding Owari waiting patiently for me.

I climbed on his back and we flew to pick up Gunther Auruo. Their reactions were the same as Petra and Erd.

I smiled because their reactions were so priceless. Again, I dropped them in the forest and flew back to Levi.

"Wait" I whispered to Owari. He stopped and flew into the clouds. I looked down and saw a doe below.

"Well we haven't ate anything, you want to go hunting?" I smiled.

Owari dived down, his talons reached out for the doe. He successfully caught the doe, killing it in his talons.

"Good job, you're getting better at hunting" I said and Owari flew back.

I looked below and couldn't find Levi anywhere. We landed below but there was nothing until something caught my eye.

I was looking at the waterfall and saw something shimmering. I walked around the waterfall and saw that there was a large hole behind the waterfall. I placed my back against the wall and slid to the hole.

Owari just went through the waterfall and followed me walking into the cave.

A wide smile went across my face at the sight I saw.

The black dragon was sleeping and under its wing was Levi sleeping also. I smiled as Owari laid down too and I leaned on his body, my eyelids slowly closing.

"I think you would make a wonderful dragon rider, Levi" I said and dozed off to sleep.
