Chapter 21 ~ More Brats

Your POV

"Please... Don't leave me..." I sob, gripping on Levi's shirt, my tears soaking on him.

'I don't want to be alone in this cruel world again.' I thought, clutching him while crying into his chest.

"Please step back,"

I lift up my head, seeing a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. His hair was cut into a bowl shape and he seem smaller than the rest of the other riders.

"What are you going to do?" I ask but refusing to let go of Levi, I heard his breathing become more rag and quicken which made me more concern.

"He's been poison and the body is trying to get it out of its system." He said seriously.

"P-poison?" I wipe a tear away and saw that black liquid and blood were mixed in Levi's wound.

"Ms, Please I can help but you need to let go of him." He says, softly gazing into my eyes. My head shook slowly, settling Levi on the ground softly and backing up.

Levi groans, gripping the grass and ripping it. The blonde boy kneels beside Levi, looking at the deep, fleshy and bloody wound. He looks around and his eyes stared back at me.

"Doku," He says in a kind gently tone. A sudden breeze hit my face, blowing my hair until I heard something big land on the grass. "Please show yourself." The blonde boy says.

A shimmering of green appears and the green dragon was standing beside him. It was the same dragon that I had try to escape with for help. Slowly the dragon open its mouth and its top fangs slowly came out from its gums.

The blonde boy lifts his hand the dragon name Doku. I squint my eyes, seeing something drip...

"W-Wait!" I reach my hand out, seeing the clear poison steady out from the fangs and pooled into the boys hands but... It didn't burn him?

I stood frozen, completely confuse and how he was able to hold the poison without shriveling up dead. "Don't worry about him," A boy said, walking to me with a girl by his side.

"What do you mean?" I ask, watching as the boy rubbed the substance on Levi's wound. "I-I.... I saw that dragon use its poison burn through hunters.. Why isn't it burning him?" I ask, turning my head to them.

"Well... Armin's dragon is pretty unique," The boy said, his emerald eyes shifts over, watching the blonde boy name Armin. "Doku, Armin's dragon, well... Doku is able to spit venom and burn through thick armor." He explains briefly.

"But it's also antidote to any types of poison." The girl includes in, her silver eyes stares into my own, filled with relief that she and the others were safe.

I turn my head back to Armin, seeing him putting pressure on the wound and Levi groaning while shutting his eyes close, perspiration ran down his head nonstop.

Levi suddenly exhales in relief, his body relaxing and his head falling on the dirt softly. Armin sighs in relief, wiping his sweat on his forehead but making some blood smear on his head.

"Where do we go now?" The boy asks with the emerald hair asks me, rubbing his arm with small bags under his eyes.

"There's a cave over there," I said, pointing off to the direction.

"That was opposite way from where we came," he frowns at me. "If we go that way there's a chance the dragon hunters will come back." He says.

"I know but if we flew to the cave then there's a chance that dragon hunters will catch us." I said, walking toward Levi and Armin, kneeling beside them.

"I-I think he'll be fine but we need to find shelter first." Armin stutters, wiping the dry blood with a cloth. My hand brushes on Levi's head, watching him wince for a second then fall asleep again.

"Thank you," I smile warmly at him then standing up, walking up to Ai and softly rub her snout. Her black scale eyelids flung open, staring at me she stood up, limping towards Levi and looks at him, nuzzling his body with her muzzle. "He'll be fine." I said, patting her neck.

"Alright!" I yell at all of the seven riders to get their attentions. "Get on your dragons and follow me, we'll use the cloud as our cover and don't you dare fire or else." I try to sound as intimidating as I could. They all nod, climbing on their dragons back.

"Armin, I got him." I said to him, picking up Levi, putting one arm over my shoulder and carrying him to Ai's back. I fling Levi on his dragons back, then carefully climbing on her and adjusting Levi so he wouldn't slip or fall off.

"Come on Ai, let's go back." I whisper into her ear. Ai does a mumble as saying if 'yes' and flaps her wings and slowly move through and up higher into the air.

I hug Levi, pressing my forehead against his, smiling as our noses touch. "Don't worry you'll be back and you'll be your bitchy self." I whisper in a jokingly manner.

I look all around me, seeing the others following behind me as we surpass the cloud covers.

'I can't believe I found more dragon riders...'

It's been almost two days since we came back to the cave. Levi hasn't woken but and stays in the cave, asleep.

I was outside the cave, crouch by a bush and pick a dark plump raspberry. I look beside me, chuckling a bit seeing that Sasha was gobbling most of the berries. I stood up, looking behind me.

Mikasa was building a fire along with Armin. Connie, Jean and Marco were chatting, laughing together.

"F/n!"

My head snap, seeing Eren running towards me, his clothes were dirty and had some dirt on his cheek.

"What happened??" I ask, running up to him, wiping the dirt away from his cheek like a mother figure.

"Uh.... He's awake." Eren says, scratching the back of his head. "I was getting some things and he must've thought that I was a hunter." He says.

"He's awake?" I said, my tone went higher and I ran toward the cave. I almost slipped while running past the waterfall and into the cave....

~BAM~

My eyes involuntarily shut from the impact then slowly opening as I met a pair of familiar steel grey eyes. My body was laying beside him, my head was stinging with pain and I saw a red oval on his forehead.

"Levi! You're awake!" I shout in his ear, wrapping my arms over his neck and pulling him deeply into a tight hug.

I heard him gasp, "You're hugging too tight." He says, making me suddenly realize about his wound.

"Aha sorry..." I reply, embarrass and look down at the floor, playing around with the pebbles on the ground. I felt my body pulled back to him, this time his arms wrapped around me. I place my head on the crook of his neck, hugging him back.

After a good minute or two Levi lets go and clears his throat, looking away.

"So why are the other brats here?" He ask, standing up, dusting himself off then taking my hand and helping me up.

I laugh, standing up beside him and nudge him gently. "I guess they're our little apprentices, you'll have to teach them." I said.

Levi groans and rubs his temple, "Why me?" He says, almost pouting,

"Because you have to," I stick my tongue out playfully at him. He groans again like a child and walks towards the entrance of the cave as I follow next to him.

"More brats." He mutters.
