Chapter 7 ~ Choose

Your POV

'Why didn't Levi kill me? Why hasn't Levi turned me in?!!' I thought but the tiredness took a toll on my body and I fell asleep.

I woke up and stretched my arms. "Oi F/n are you awake??" Auruos voice yelled out from my tent.

"Yes" I replied and yawned.

"Hurry up and change, we're going to a village" Auruo said.

"Are we coming back to camp?" I asked.

"Tch, no brat, We're going to sleep in the village" he said.

'I better tell Owari' I thought.

"Oh but I'm going to the lake to wash myself" I said, hoping he'll let me.

"Tch then hurry up" he said.

I grabbed some extra clothes and walked out of the tent. I then walked into the forest and to the lake.

I looked around and saw that the lake was peaceful and there were no other people around. I sighed in relief and hung my clothes on a branch, I stripped off my clothes and dipped my feet in the water.

It was early morning so the lake was misty and foggy. I shivered as my my toes touched the cold water. I took a deep breath then exhaled.

I whistled a tune, repeating the tune over and over again. Behind me the brushes started rustling. Owari's head popped out giving me a toothy smile.

"I came to tell you that I'm going to a village so we won't be camping any more" I said.

"I want you to follow us but make sure not to be caught and when we get to the village. Stay in the nearest forest" I said.

Owari grumbled and I splashed the cold water onto him.

"Stop grumbling, be glad that we're not in the mountains again" I said.

I heard the water splashing behind me. Some one was here too....

"Go!" I whispered at Owari. He took off, flying into the forest. I quietly hid behind a large rock to see who the person was.

From under the water a man gasped for air. My eyes widened as I realized it was Levi, his black hair was soaked and dripping down water droplets.

I felt my face heat up and I placed my back on the rock, hoping that he'll go away.

"Tch, who's there" Levi yelled out. I sunk my body into the water more.

I peeked up and saw Levi was glaring at me.

"Tch, what the hell are you doing here" he said and ran his hand through his hair. I hid part of my face behind the rock.

"I-I was taking a bath" I stammered. I was so glad it was foggy so I couldn't see his naked body.

"Did Bozado tell you that we're going to the village?" Levi said bluntly as if seeing a naked women was normal.

"Yes! And I-I'm going to go now!" I said and was going to stand up but Levi was still staring at me.

"What" he said.

"C-Can you turn around" I said while my eyebrow twitched. Levi replied with a 'Tch' and turned around. I stumbled to walk back on the land and put on my clothes.

I quickly walked back to my tent and started packing.

~Time Skip~

I was walking through a village with everyone and we stopped at a inn.

Levi paid for our rooms and we walked through the building, finding our rooms.

Our rooms were next to one another.

I set my things down and laid on my bed.

'It's been awhile since I slept in a real bed' I thought. Night fell and I put on my black clothes and cloak and walked out of the inn.

"Did you know the king changed the law again?"

I overheard two women talking and quietly eavesdrop on their conversation.

"The law states that Dragons and Dragon hunters are to be captured alive. If they're kept alive then they get twice the reward!" The women exclaimed.

A man caught my eye, he was dirt smudge on his cheeks and now in his hands.

'He's probably a hunter' I thought.

"Do you know where the nearest forest is?" I asked a hunter with a bow in his arms.

"Yes, just go to the outskirts of the village and you'll see it in the west" he explained.

"But you might want to be careful, I heard some dragon riders are there because there's a dragon living in there" he said and walked away.

My body froze...

'He couldn't be talking about Owari, could he??!' I thought and sprinted out of the village and in the forest.

I silently ran around then suddenly... A beam of fire was in the sky.

'Owari?!' I thought and ran.

Owari was too young be breath fire but he was nearly Jiyū's size so panic took over me. I quickly ran towards the fire.

I climbed up a tree, going higher and higher. I couldn't just barge in and get caught myself, I wanted to see how much dragon hunters there were.

I looked down and saw ten dragon hunters, all of them had scars, men and buff.

A dragon was trapped in chains and nets of metal, roaring out fire....

Levi POV

I heard my bed door cream open and footsteps quietly entering my room. I softly sighed as I knew their filthy boots were running the floor.

I gripped on my sheets and threw it at unknown person. I got on the ground and kicked their feet, making them fall backwards.

I grabbed out my knife and placed it at their throat.

"Filthy pig" I muttered and removed the blanket off the person. It was a man with a scar across his cheek.

The door opened and I saw Petra, behind her was another man with a scar but had a knife at her throat.

"Levi Ackerman, come out here and let's talk. If not..." He stopped in the middle of his sentence and pushed the knife closer to Petra's throat.

"All of them dies" he said.

Auruo, Gunther and Erd appeared behind Petra. All of them were gagged and men were behind them with knifes at their throats.

"Tch" I stood up, off the man and walked out of my room.

'Where the hell is the other brat?' I thought as I couldn't find F/n.

"We're not here to kill but we're here to make a deal" The man said that was holding the knife against Petra's neck.

"What's the deal" I demanded.

"We're not dumb Levi. We know you have a dragon rider with you and we want you to give her go us" he said.

"If you do, we won't kill them" He said with a chuckle.

"And if I don't?" I raised my eyebrow.

"You know what happens" he said pushing the knife onto Petra's skin, making a small cut.

"Is it a deal?" he smirked.

I sighed.

"Deal"
