Chapter 13 ~ Idiot

Your POV

"You're not doing it right, your dragon isn't a horse" I critizing as I watched Levi put his saddle on Ai.

"No don't do that! Your going t-"

Ai squeaked and ran off away from Levi.

"I was going to say that you shouldn't do that because you were going to pinch her scales" I smiled at him.

"Tch, you could've told me before I clasp the saddle on her" Levi grunted. "Oi get over here" Levi said and Ai came back.

"Let me show you" I said, grabbing the saddle from his hands and put it on Ai. After I was done I undid everything and have the saddle back to Levi.

"Tch, you could've just left it on her" Levi said.

"Then what's the point of learning if you can't do it yourself?" I smirked at him.

"I'll show you" he growled, taking the saddle from me and placed it on Ai, doing the exact things I showed him.

He stepped back to let me see.

"Perfect" I complimented. "Now you need to tie the reins on her horns" I said, lifting up the leather rope. Levi rolls his eyes, grabs the rope it out of my hands and walks to Ai.

I laughed at his childish act and looked around.

'That reminds me? Why did Levi name his dragon as 'Ai'?' I thought.

'Ai means love? I think?'

I shrugged and watched Levi as he tied the leather rope on Ai's horns. After a while he was done and I walked over to him.

I slightly tugged on it to make sure it was well knotted and wouldn't fall off. Then I checked the saddle making sure it was tight enough.

"Ok now we just need to teach you how to fly" I said. Levi just walked up to Ai and climbed onto her back, holding on to her reins.

"Flying is just like riding a horse" I said simply.

Ai growled at me.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean that you are a horse, I'm just saying that it's really simple" I said to Ai and she stopped growling at me.

"But the difference is that you have to talk to your dragon" I explained.

"Why" Levi said straight up.

"Being a dragon rider is working together. More experience dragon riders can ride their dragons without talking to each other because they share one mind" I explained.

"They don't literally share the same mind but I mean that they think alike" I said and climbed on Owari's back. I took off my black coat and threw it to Levi.

"Wear it, you'll need it" I said. Levi looked hesitant and looked at the jacket in his hands. I rolled my eyes.

"It's not dirty" I said and sighed. Levi took a closer look then put it on after realizing that it wasn't dirty at all.

"Clean freak" I muttered.

"What was that brat?" Levi said, I looked up and saw that Levi was on his dragon and flying without any help.

"I said can you catch up?" I said and Owari flew at fast speed. I smiled as the wind blew in my face and my hair whipped around.

I looked behind me and saw that Levi was right beside me. I clicked my tongue and Owari suddenly stopped and plunge high into the clouds.

The puffy white clouds blocked my vision.

"Stop" I said to Owari's ear, he stopped climbing higher into the atmosphere and just stayed in place. I looked around as I didn't see Levi anywhere.

"Did he not catch up with me?" I said and looked below. I couldn't see anything through the cloud.

~BAM~

My body jerked and I was flung off of Owari. I struggled to look up and saw Levi riding on his dragon, Owari was knocked but quickly recovered.

I looked down and saw that I was falling in high speed. I didn't know what to do?! My heart was beating faster and faster and it was the only thing I could hear.

My pupils expanded as I was nearing the earth. I looked back up again and saw that Levi was riding his best towards me.

My head jerked back down and saw that every second passed I dropped ten feet. I screamed until my voice cracked.

"F/N!!"

I looked up and saw Levi and his hand reached out for me.

"YOU FUCKING IDIOT, YOU SHOULD'VE WATCH WHERE YOU WERE FLYING!" I yelled out.

"TAKE MY HAND BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND" he yelled back.

"I WOULD'NT BE FALLING IF YOU WERE WATCHING IN THE FIRST PLACE!" I screamed at him.

"JUST HURRY UP AND TAKE MY FUCKING HAND!" Levi yelled. Tears crept around the corners of my eyes and flew away as the force of the wind pushed them.

Levi's hand inched towards me.

I closed my eyes and grabbed his hand. I pulled myself up and wrapped my arms around his neck. I quickly hid my face his in chest to hide away tears.

Third POV

F/n looked hesitant as Levi hands were infront of her. She quickly took it, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Ai quickly turned her wings to make her float before hitting the ground. As she opened her wings, they lifted her up but did not save Ai from her being hit with dozens of forest trees.

Ai and Levi slid on the earth, knocking down trees under them. Luckily Ai wasn't hurt badly and Levi and F/n made it with no injuries.

Levi breathed heavily, he laid on his back as F/n was on his chest.

"Oi, get off of me" Levi demanded but F/n didn't move a inch. He looked at her and saw that she was sleeping, tears ran down on her cheeks.

Levi hesitantly wiped away the tears and hugged her tightly with one question on his mind....

'Why was she crying?....'
