Chapter 8 ~ I Am

Your POV

A dragon was trapped under chains and nets of metal....

It was a beautiful pure black dragon with red eyes as he breathed fire but when he stopped breathing fire, his eyes turned into a sky blue.

'You don't see that often' I thought but was mesmerize by the beautiful dragon. I suddenly snapped out of it when I saw Levi.

Levi was surrounded by five men and walked to a tent.

'What is he doing here?' I thought I silently climbed down and crawled around. I stayed hidden in the shadows and crawled next to the tent that Levi went in.

I took out a pocket knife and poked a small hole and peeked through it. Levi was sitting down with two men standing beside him.

"You made a good choice Levi" A man said. Just by looking at him, I immediately knew this man was the leader.

"Tch like I had a choice" Levi muttered.

"You're being rewarded also" The man said and brought out a bag and threw it at Levi's feet.

Levi picked it up and opened it. It was small glimmering diamonds.

"Each diamond is worth ten-thousand, it should help you and our squad" The man said.

"But you have to get us the girl first" The man said.

'Are they talking about me?!' I thought.

"Tch, like I have a choice. Leep your diamonds I don't want them" Levi muttered.

'So Levi was black mailed....' I thought.

"But if you don't you know we have to kill your group" The man smirks.

"Where are they?" Levi demands.

"They're safe... For now" The man said and took out his knife, balancing its handle on the tip of his finger.

I crawled away from the tent and looked around. There were five more tents around. I quietly poked a hole in two the tents to see if Petra and them were there but it was nothing.

On the last tent I poked a hole through and found four sacks that were sizes as of humans. I creeped to the front of the tent and looked in the bags.

I saw Erd looking at me, his eyes were blindfolded and his mouth was gagged. I quickly took off his blindfold and gag.

"F/n! You have to get out of here" Erd whispered.

"I'm not leaving without you" I said firmly. "I have a plan but I need to tell Levi.... Its a crazy plan" I admitted.

"I can tell him but it's a long shot" Erd suggested. I nodded and whispered the plan to him, his eyes widened at my strategy.

"T-That's crazy!" He whispered.

"I did say that but it's the only way!" I said. "I have to go! Please try to tell Levi if you can" I said and snuck out of the tent.

Luckily I wasn't caught, I ran deeper in the forest. I ran and ran further away from the dragon hunters and climbed up a tree.

I whistled the tune again through the quiet forest, hoping Owari would appear.

~Mean While~

Levi POV

"Tch, filthy" I muttered as I looked around.

'These fucking dragon hunters don't even know how to be clean' I thought and my eyebrows twitched slightly.

"Are you sure you don't want the diamonds?" The leader asked.

"Tch, yes" I replied.

"You're not a dragon Hunter" He said.

'Why wasn't I accepting the reward? Why didn't I turn in F/n? Why did I decide to let her stay?!' I thought but had no answers to my questions.

'What the hell... She's a dragon rider so why didn't I turn her in for the money?' I thought.

"You're right... I'm not a dragon hunter. Not anymore" I glared into his eyes.

The man only laughed loudly and slapped his knee from laughing so hard.

"That means you've been helping a dragon rider and that also means that I have to kill you and your squad" he said.

"Son of a bitch" I said and stood up but two dragon hunters took my wrists and tied them together. They both pushed me down, making my face hit the filthy ground. I struggled but the two dragon hunters held me down with their foot. The leader walked up to me and took out his sword, the blade was aimed for my neck.

He swung down his sword...

"STOP HE'S GETTING AWAY"

The leader stopped in the middle of his swing and rolled his eyes.

"What happened now?" He groaned and put his sword away. They all left, leaving me and my face on the filthy ground. I clicked my tongue and hoisted myself up.

I looked at the entrance of the tent and saw Erd bursting in.

"Levi!" He shouted and ran up to me. "I don't have time but F/n has a plan and you need to do this" he said.

"Tch, quit wasting time and tell me already" I demanded.

Two dragon hunters ran in and dragged Erd away but Erd whispered a sentence in my ear that made my eyes widen. Before I could process the words he said Erd was dragged away.

'F/n is fucking crazy......' I thought and the Leader walked in.

"I'll do it...." I said once he walked in.

"What?" He looked at me funny.

"I said I'll get the girl, just don't hurt my squad. But I don't want the money either" I replied.

The man smirked and blended down so he was at my eye level and glaring at each other.

"I thought you said you weren't a dragon hunter?" He smirked.

"You're wrong...." I said

"I am a dragon hunter" I said firmly while glaring at him. The man chuckled and cut off the ropes off my wrists.

"I knew your answer from the start" The man said and placed his hand on my shoulder.

'Your plan better work F/n'
