Chapter 22 ~ Training

"What the hell are you doing? You call that camouflage?!" I yelled, "you might as well catch in flames and run around in circles!"

"F/n?! What's the point of this? The only one who can camouflage is Armin and his dragon!" Eren yelled out.

I gave a sigh, these kids never had any training at all of an Dragon rider. Today was especially a steaming hot day.

"Alright, everyone regroup, now." I said.

Soon in seconds six dragons surrounded me in a circle with their riders on top.

"F/n, having fun there?" Jean calls out, he was leaning on a tree with a piece of grass in his mouth.

Another sigh came from me. Jean was the only one in the group, who didn't have his own dragon. Although he didn't have a dragon, he was seen with riders. Now he can't leave because he as well is being hunt down.

"That's the training for today, you guys still need to learn hero to properly ride dragons." I said, my hands were on my hips.

"First I'm going to give out your chores. Armin and Mikasa, you are going on patrol. Make sure you're not seen." I said, looking at them.

Armin, he is a genius but no experience with fighting at all but he would do anything for his friends. His dragon was the same yet different, Doku a small male dragon.

Doku had light green scales and his body was slightly smaller than the others, he had the ability to bend his colors into anything. Doku also has the ability to produce a dangerous venom, but to make a antidote as well. He was smart but an coward, Doku would always run away from anything bigger than he was.

Mikasa was exceptional at almost everything, she learned quickly and excel at anything she was told. Her dragon named Kana, short for Odayakana.

Kana was silent, she wouldn't roar or snarl or anything. The portion of her wings were larger than her body. She was a mixture of dark and light grey, her snout is long and her teeth are sharp as thorns.

It's only been about an week since these group of riders have been with us. I still have yet to learn about them and their dragons, so far the only them is that they have no experience at all.

"Next, Connie and Sasha. You two will be hunting today, and Sasha, don't eat our food without us." I added.

Connie, a shaved dimwit. That's all I have to say. His dragon is named Yujin, a small yellow-ish dragon with a bright personality. Yujin was small as Armin's dragon, I am guessing that he's only a very young dragon.

Sasha's dragon is rather impressive to me, the name of her dragon was Tsume. Tsume is a male dragon, he has such long curvy talons which are perfect for gripping onto the enemy opponent. He was a color of a dark hazel brown, and his legs and arms are strong.

Tsume and his owner had the same passion, food.

"Marco, you're going to built a ditch for the fire."

Marco's dragon was a female dragon named Rida. She had a orange sunset color for her scales, and a big statue for a female. She didn't have any sharp claws on her forearms, and head was shaped like a shovel. Her body was made for digging and she is slightly sensitive to bright lights.

"Eren and Jean, you guys collect wood." I said, then stretching.

"Eh?!" They both said at the same time.

"You can't pair me up with horse face!" Eren refuses, using his thumb to point at Jean.

"Shut up Jeager! It's your fault I'm in this mess!" Jean yells back, stomping towards him.

Both of them made the first move, throwing punches at each other. Everyone, including me jumped into the fray, separating the two. Brawling on the floor, Mikasa manage to hold down Jean as I held back Eren.

Soon a red dragon with a yellow belly appeared in front of me, growling as it's eyes stared me down.

"Eren. Call off your dragon right now!." I whispered into his ear.

"Netsu, I'm fine. Just calm down." Eren says through his teeth, and the dragon immediately obeyed, sitting down with a non-threatening expression.

Netsu was a male fire dragon, he had yellow claws and belly. He was the biggest out of the group and he had the hottest fire, however, Netsu was simple-minded. Just like his rider.

I gave a deep sigh, I could already feel the stress making my hair white. "Good." I said, letting go of Eren, "now do what I say. If you're in a group, learn how to cooperate, I don't care if you guys don't like each other. You won't survive without all of us unified."
I preached then began to walk off.

"What do you even know about dragons?! We've been here for a week yet all we done was chores."

I twisted my head back, seeing it was Eren with an angry look.

"Everyone has to do their part with chores. When you guys are serious enough to take the training you'll be able to do more things. But for now, if you're going to act like children, you're going to get disciplined." I replied.

"Or is it because you don't know how to train us?!" Eren shouts. "I bet you're not really an dragon rider, you don't even have a dragon." He scoffs.

My face scrounged up. "What, did you say?" My voice started to raise, as I stride my way to him.

"Some dragon rider you are. If you really were a dragon rider, then bring your dragon or fight against the king for all dragons sake." He says.

When I reached to him, he raised his fist to throw which I easily caught, I twist his arm around his back, placing it between his shoulder blades.

"Eren!" Mikasa yells, I shot her a glare as I pushed Eren to the ground.

"Don't interfere!" I yelled at her, making her freeze and holding Eren with ease against the ground. "Listen kid, you have no fucking idea what I've been through." I said, growling under my voice.

"F/n."

Looking up, I saw Levi standing there with Ai.

"Let go, you're going to break his arm." Levi says soothingly, it knocked me back to my senses.

With that I let go of his wrist, glaring at the others. "Go dip yourselves in the waterfall. The heat is making everyone crazy." I muttered, sharply turning around so my back was facing them.

'He's right, what kind of rider am I if I couldnt save my own dragons.' I thought, I felt the tears beginning to stream down as I walked alone away from the group.
