Eliana

"Eliiiii", Leah mumbles.

"Turn it oooff."

I turn off the alarm and get on my knees, praying to my father in heaven.

After praying I stand up, shaking Leah awake, "wake uuup, you wanted to have breakfast with me."

"It's too earlyyyy."

I stop, "It's 7:30."

"Too early", she says, turning to the other side.

I go to the desk, read my Bible and get ready.

I put on a bit tighter long dress.

Putting on my ballet flats that match my grey knitted dress Leah tells me, "we'll have brunch tomorrow after church, alright?"

"Sounds good", I smile, "bye!!"

Fynn

I'm sipping on my black coffee, reading Psalms.

It's already almost cold.

That's how long I've been here, waiting.

I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about last night nonstop.

I was thinking about God and her.

I can't figure out whether she's the one or not.

And it's not leaving my mind.

Love should be easy.

Though it's not about love that I'm thinking about because I know she feels the same way.

I already like her so much and I don't want to get heart broken when God removes her.

I want her to be the one but I don't want to barge into Gods plan.

But the thing is, I don't want any woman beside her.

I begin to read Psalm 18 when a woman enters.

She's wearing a grey dress, black shoes with her brown handbag.

Her hair is up.

Gosh, her hair is gorgeous.

Golden blond, like the sun and that length of it woah. It goes up to her lower back.

I rest my chin in my palm and exhale desperately.

She glances over at me and I don't bother looking away.

We make eye contact, when she tells the waiter something.

I stand up and walk over to her.

I won't let her pay.

The waiter hands her her coffee. To-go?

She's about to give him her card when I give him mine instead.

"What are you doing?", she asks.

"Paying", I grin.

"Fynn", she tilts her head to the side.

"Eliana."

I put my card back into my wallet, "Good bye", I tell the waiter.

I take her coffee in one hand, her hand with my free one and start walking to our table.

"Why'd you want to leave", I ask her.

"I thought you wanted some alone time, you had your Bible out."

"If I wanted alone time, I would've stayed at home. I was waiting for you", I smile.

"You were?", her eyes light up.
