Eliana

I wake up from the sunlight shining into my face.

I look to my left where Fynn is sleeping.

He's holding me loosely in his arms.

I try to free myself from his grip and succeed.

Yes!

I quietly stand up and walk out of his bedroom, closing the door behind me.

I walk into the living room, searching for my handbag.

Got it.

I take my Bible out of it and walk to the balcony, taking a blanket from the couch with me.

I wrap myself into the blanket and sit down on a chair.

Laying my Bible on the table in front of me, I begin to pray, "Father God, I thank You for waking me up this morning. Thank you so much for not giving up on me, life hasn't really been easy in my past. But then You showed up, transforming all the darkness into light. You are the reason I am still walking on this earth, thank you Father for always loving me unconditionally. I pray that You bless this day, Lord, lead me and let Your will be done through me. I love You my Lord, in Jesus name, amen."

I open my Bible and begin to read.

After a while, I stand up and stretch myself, "it's going to be a good day, Father", I smile.

"Time to make some breakfast", I clap my hands together and make my way into the kitchen.

I search in the fridge for some eggs and milk.

Two eggs left.

Pancakes it is.

I mix the ingredients together and search for a pan.

"Aha, found it."

I lay it on the stove and begin making the pancakes.

I'm listening to Above All/ You Are My All In All by Mass Anthem with my headphones.

"You are my all in all", I whisper, trying not to sing too loudly so that I don't wake up Fynn.

"Jesus, Lamb of God. Worthy is Your name", I close my eyes, lifting one hand in the air and lay the other on my heart.

"Jesus, Lamb of God. Worthy is Your name."

"Jesus—"

Someone wraps their arms around my waist from behind.

"You are my strength when I am weak", Fynn sings.

I continue singing, "Lamb of God."

"You are the treasure that I seek", Fynn sings at the same time.

"Worthy is Your name", I lay my arms on Fynn's, resting my head against his chest.

"Jesus."

"Seeking You as a precious jewel", he sings along.

"Lamb of God."

"Lord, to give up, I'd be a fool."

"Worthy is Your name."

"Worthy is Your name", we sing in union, "worthy is Your name."

I put my headphones out, not moving away from Fynns chest.

He rests his cheek on my head, teetering me in his arms.

It has been a little while since I've felt this full of the Holy Spirit.

Of course I feel peace after praying and reading His word.

But this peace is on a complete different level.
