"Baby", Fynn enters the front door, "I'm home."

I rush over to him, wrapping my arms around his neck and kiss him.

He chuckles, "woah there."

I loosen my lips from his, "I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"How was your day?"

"Fine. Exhausting", he pulls me back into his arms, "how was yours?"

I wrap my arms around his torso, "it was good."

He kisses my forehead, "hey, I like this."

He means my veil.

It's this little white scarf with light green flowers on it that I tied around my hair.

Like the Slavic Christians wear their veil.

"You do?"

He nods, smiling, "you look so cute."

I grin, pressing my lips onto his chest once.

He slips out of his shoes.

"I'm so exhausted", he exhales.

"Oh", I blink, holding my hands behind my back, "I thought maybe you'd like to go have a picnic date with me."

A smirk appears on his lips, "I'd love to, baby."

"But we can stay at home too, if you want to rest."

"No no, I'll get changed really quick and we'll go."

I grin, "okay."

He pecks my lips before going upstairs to change out of his suit.

I whirl around, my black sundress brushing my legs.

Taking the basket with sandwiches, fruits and our bibles from the kitchen, I walk back to the corridor.

He arrives downstairs again, wearing a pair of denims with a white Ralph Lauren poloshirt.

"Hey handsome."

"Hello, my beautiful."

He slips into his shoes and takes the basket.

"Let's go", he smiles.

I grin.

We arrive at the meadow.

Fynn opens my door and helps me out.

He takes the basket that's in front of my feet and interlinks his free fingers with mine.

We've had this picnic dates a few times after we moved in together.

They are always so beautiful.

So private.

And peaceful because we invite God in.

We have a little bible study there and it's always so fun and fulfilling.

As we arrive at our spot near the lake, I take out the blanket from the basket, laying on it on the green grass.

I sit down, taking the food out of the basket.

"You need help?"

I smile up at him, shaking my head, "I got it, but thank you."

He smiles before looking at the lake.

The view is breathtaking.

It's one of the reasons we love this place.

And this place is one of the many reasons we decided to move to a more quieter environment.
