"I just need some clothes", I tell Leah.

"Where's your lover man?", she rests her chin on her fists.

She's already in bed, lying on her stomach while analyzing every move I do.

To be fair it's already half past six.

No, that's still too early, even for her.

"How come you are in bed already?"

"I slept real bad last night", she yawns, "only a few hours."

"Oh, that doesn't sound that good", I say, laying my bible into my handbag.

"And how did you sleep?", she asks, grinning.

"Very well, we went to bed early because he was so tired from the ride."

Fynn and I didn't do much today.

Yesterday after our little fight, he refused to let go of me.

Only once he let me go.

And that was when I changed my clothes.

And today we went for brunch at the cafe and took a walk afterwards.

A pretty long walk.

I pack a dress and some tights into the bag, along with some fresh underwear.

"I think I need a shower today", I think out loud, "tomorrow's service and my hair's gonna be greasy."

I touch my scalp before walking into the bathroom to get my shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

"You talked about moving in yet?", Leah asks as I enter the room again.

I stop, "no, but I think it would better to move in together later."

"Later?"

"You know, right before marriage and stuff."

I pack my shampoos in, "to not get tempted."

"Well, I guess that makes sense but you've already spend the nights with him."

"Yeah", I tilt my head sidewards, "where are you going with this?"

"I just think it's not going to be any different. Not really."

"Huh"

"Is he waiting for you in the parking lot? Was he too scared to meet with me again", she draws her lips into a thin line, "poor man."

I chuckle, "he went to grab some dinner."

"So you say", she looks at me suspiciously.

"You need anything else?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like food or something?"

She frowns.

"I could cook you some dinner or grab you something—"

"El", she stops me, "I can look after myself."

"I just—"

"Don't feel guilty just because you have a boyfriend now, El", she smiles.

"I was the same with Jer, remember? It's normal to spend a lot of time with him because you assume that he's your future"

Jer was Leah's first boyfriend.

He was a Christian too but he wasn't that much of a believer.

But the truth revealed to Leah only after a few months of dating.
