Fynn
Eliana and I are engaged, I can't believe it.
But at the same time it feels so natural.
As if we've known each other a lifetime.
After a lot of sobbing and hugging she wanted to sing.
Probably because of the music I played.
So we're doing karaoke right know.
"Oh I love this song", she smiles, turning the YouTube video on.
'Flowers' by Samantha Ebert begins to play.
Eliana uses the remoter as a microphone, singing along the lyrics.
I watch her from the couch.
She's stunning.
Her hair is open, swinging around as the dances and jumps.
She's so natural and carefree.
Beautiful.
So beautiful, I can't take my eyes off her.
When the song ends, she rushes over to me happily.
She sits down on my lab, grinning from ear to ear.
"Hi."
"Hi, fiancée."
She grins.
Her hand strokes over my hair and her gaze follows it, "I didn't know you can be so romantic."
"I didn't either."
She chuckles, meeting my eyes.
"But for you I want to be."
Her eyes soften and she kisses my lips lightly.
"I'll get ready for bed."
"Alright", I smile.
She disappears into the bedroom and I fall onto my back.
I'm engaged.
To the girl of my dreams.
To one of Gods daughters.
I did it.
Well I half did it.
We're not married yet.
Thank you God.
Thank you thank you thank you, Father.
I stand up, walking towards the bedroom.
I knock on the door, "baby, you ready for bed?"
When she doesn't respond I crack the door open.
She's already in bed.
Though she's lying in the very middle of the bed, on top of the bedsheets.
She must've fallen asleep as she sat down.
