Eliana

"Ugh finally", she throws her head back, "we're done with school, college, everything. Thank you Jesus."

I smile, looking into the mirror.

Leah curled my hair.

It's covering the back of my navy blue uniform.

She places the navy graduation hat on my head.

She stands next to me.

Her hair got so long over the past year.

She curled it too and it still reaches under her chest.

Her hair is so beautiful but it grows so slowly.

She was so proud as it reached over her chest.

It's so shiny.

Like obsidian when light shines on it.

A knock on the door interferes.

"They're here."

She opens the door, "hey you."

Mark leans down, pecking her lips, "hey sweetheart."

They started dating a month ago.

About time.

She let him wait long enough.

Mark found Jesus over a year ago and he changed so much.

I didn't even know it was possible in such a short period of time.

His speech on my wedding was so beautiful.

He talked about how he met Fynn and then me and how we changed his life and let him closer to Christ.

It was so sweet.

I was on the verge of tears.

Fynn walks up to me, grinning.

"You look so cute."

My cheeks heat up as I grin.

Our new home is all set.

The last thing that arrived last week was our wooden dining table.

Everything is done now.

Just some decoration and stuff are missing but that'll come with time.

We are so thankful for God that everything came so quickly.

It's a true blessing.

Our first night there will be tonight.

I wanted to enjoy the last few days together with Leah before we don't live together anymore.

"We gotta go, El", Leah says, holding Marks hand.

They're adorable together.

"Let's go then", I smile.

After graduation, we decided to get some food.

Fynn and I are waiting for Leah and Mark.

They went back to our dorm to get Leah's lipstick.

Fynns hand is resting on my lower back as we patiently wait, looking at all the graduates with their families.

My mother didn't bother to come.

Said she didn't have time today.

Which is fine.

Well, it's not.
