Eliana

The weeks flew by so fast.

It's been a month since Fynn and I had a kind of long distance relationship.

Now he's coming home for good.

Finally.

It's Friday and very soon he will be here.

I'm sitting at the cafe, reading a book.

It's almost evening, that's how long I've sat here.

Fynn said he'll pick me up here.

I glance up every few minutes, from my book.

He should be here any minute now.

A smile grows on my lips when I see a black car pull into the parking lot.

He walks out of the car, wearing a pair of black trousers with a black button-down shirt, his dark hair is messy.

He's so handsome.

Fynn enters the cafe, his eyes softening as he sees me sitting in our spot.

"Hello, pretty woman", he grins.

"Hey, handsome man", I smile.

He extends his hand for me and I accept it.

He helps me to my feet and I throw my arms around his neck.

"Easy", he chuckles, hugging me tightly.

"I missed you", I whisper.

"I missed you too, baby."

——————————————

He opens the apartment door and we walk in.

I walk to the kitchen.

His bags fall to the floor.

"Do you—"

He surprises me by cupping my cheeks and kissing me.

I stumble backwards, my back hitting the counter.

"Finally", he whispers against my mouth, tilting my head sidewards to allow himself more excess.

He kisses me so passionately but also carefully at the same time.

His grip on my cheeks gets gentler and he holds me as if I'll disappear the second he lets me go.

As if I'm the most precious thing he's ever seen.

Ever held.

He removes his lips from mine and rests his forehead against mine, breathing heavily.

My chest heaves rapidly.

I look up at him.

He smirks, brushing his thumb over my cheek.

"You're so cute when you're blushing."

I smile slightly.

He hugs me tightly, "gosh, I missed you."

I giggle against his chest, "I missed you more."

"Uh-uh", he shakes his head, "impossible."

I inhale his fragrance, "you smell so good."

He looks down at me, "I smell good after hours of driving?"

"Mhm", I nod, grinning.

"Okay, I think you indeed missed me to much."

I chuckle.

He pulls me against his chest again, "just kidding."

We stand there for a while.
