Eliana
"Hola hola", Luna smiles as I open the door.
"Hey", I smile, "come on in!"
"Ay no! I have to leave now."
She gives me Hugo into my arms.
"The boys have the stuff from him in their suitcases."
She pecks my cheek, "see you in five days."
Then she gives Hugo and the boys each a kiss.
"Bye má", they say.
Hugo waves at her.
I motion for them to come in and close the door behind them.
Alejandro wraps an arm around me, "hi Eli."
I hug him with one arm, "hey."
He loosens his arm around me and Antonio holds his arms out for me.
I wrap my free arm around him, "hi."
I let go of him, "have you grown again?"
They are both half a head taller than me.
"We have to, don't we?", Antonio smirks.
"You got good genes, boys. Anyways, you want to sleep in one room or—"
"Please do not force us to sleep in one bed", Antonio says, "he snores like a seahorse."
"Que? I snore? Have you heard yourself?"
"Sí, sí, I snore."
They slept in one room together for their entire life.
Like most twins.
I chuckle, "come on upstairs."
They slip out of their shoes and take their suitcases.
As we arrive upstairs, I open one door.
"One of you can sleep here."
Alejandro lifts his hand and walks in, "I volunteer."
I smile.
Antonio looks at me, "and where is your bedroom?"
"Ugh! Disgusting Antonio! Don't you have the tiniest ounce of respect?"
"I'm joking!"
I shake my head and walk to the room next to Alejandros, "you can sleep here."
He nods, "thank you."
"Does Hugo sleep alone?"
"Sí."
"Well, I don't have a cot yet", I look at Hugo.
"Nahh, he can sleep in a bed. He's already two, Eli."
I sigh.
Time flies by so fast.
"Alright then."
Alejandro exits his room.
"Are you two hungry? I made pasta."
"Starving", Alejandro exhales.
"Same here but I need to use the restroom first."
"Down the hall", I point with my finger.
"Hurry Tonito, I know how long you can disappear to the bathroom with your phone."
"Mhm", he walks into the bathroom.
I walk downstairs with Hugo still in my arms.
After I arrive in the kitchen I turn the stove on, heating the pasta up.
