Chapter 38: Nagseselos

It was indeed the best birthday celebration. Everyone stayed up late until dawn precisely 2 in the morning. Lahat ay pupunta pa ng Isla de Vista dahil doon magaganap ang kasal ni Sky and Maddox sa darating na linggo.

Nasa parehong Vista Tower kami with Elijah and Amber. On Vista Tower 2, Maddox and Sky, Ruhan and Amara, and Eren and Mika reside. Though Figueroa Mansion is just a 30-minute drive from our area, we didn't want them to drive at such late hours and early hours in the morning. Taking into consideration that the men drank too much alcoholic drinks.

We accommodated them in the guest rooms. Cassius and Stella remained with us. Howl and Divine were hosted in the guest room at Ruhan's residence, Fidai and Aiofe were lodged at Elijah's home, while Leese and Heart were provided quarters at Maddox and Sky's abode.

"Good morning,"

I smiled back. "Good morning, Stella. Did you get a good sleep?"

Currently, I am preparing breakfast for four people.

"Yeah, thank you so much, Cresia." aniya. "I'll help you,"

"Sure,"

"Does Zeke like black coffee too?"

Tumango ako. "All the time."

"Okay, ako na gagawa."

I prepared additional proteins, including sunny side up eggs, ham slices, and bacon, as Zeke particularly enjoys bacon for breakfast. Following this, I toasted the bread. I also finished the preparation of fluffy mini pancakes, which I drizzled with maple syrup. And, I made a cherry berry with chia and yogurt for Stella and myself.

As a healthy side dish, I sliced strawberries, bananas, and avocados. We arranged them on the dining table and summoned the two men who were conversing in the living room.

The scheduled departure time for Isla de Vista was 11 a.m., however, our departure was delayed as everyone woke up late. Umuwi pa sila Stella para kunin ang mga gamit nila. We set off at precisely 1 p.m., with ten cars traveling in convoy.

We had a late lunch at one of the restaurants we found on the road then hit the road right back on. Nakatulog ako buong biyahe at nagising ako dahil may humalik sa aking pisngi. It was Zeke telling me that we had arrived.

"We're home, princess." malambing niyang bulong.

Agad akong napangiti at tuluyan na nagising. I stood out from the car and beamed at the beautiful and large country castle, Vista Manor. It is called a 'Manor' for a reason.

"I need sleep." Aiofe groaned.

"Me too."

"Let's just take a good sleep today."

"I agree."

"See you later, everyone."

"See you!"

"I'm so sleepy. See you, ladies!"

We decided to hit the bed and rest. There will be a family dinner tonight at the beachfront so we need to restore our depleted energies.

Binabati namin sila Mama Kathryne at Papa Caerus bago nagpunta sa sarili namin na silid. Along the way, we greeted the other elders in the family.

"Baby, Z cuddles..." he hoarsely said and extended his arms. "Hurry, I wanna recharge,"

I smiled widely and dropped my body into his arms. Zeke engulfed me with his thick arms and strong legs. I succumbed into his warm embrace like a personal blanket.
