Chapter 19: Dance

"My four beautiful ladies are here."

Napalingon kami sa taong nagsabi roon. It is Tito—Papa Caerus, holding a white umbrella while walking towards the gazebo. He is a fine man with great principles.

"Honey, I missed you." malambing na sabi ni Mama.

Papa Caerus cracked up calmly and put off his umbrella on the side and proceeded towards us afterwards. Tumayo kami para mag-mano sa kanya at para rin dito siya sa tabi ni Mama Kathryne umupo.

"Hello, Papa."

I was the last person to take his hand and set it on my temple as an embodiment of our respect for the elderly. Papa Caerus tapped my back tenderly and smiled brightly.

"Cresia is calling me 'Papa', sweetheart." masaya niyang sabi kay Mama Kathryne.

Tumawa si Sky at Amara. Mama Kathryne winked at me. Napangiti ako. This family has a very strong connection. It made them even more powerful and unbreakable.

"Look at the rings on her hand, Caerus." Mama Kathryne giggled.

My cheeks flushed. Si Sky na mismo ang kumuha ng aking kamay para ipakita kay Papa Caerus. Two rings on both hands are gleaming brightly.

"I'll commend Zeke for choosing these beautiful stones." puri ni Papa Caerus. "He personally went to Dubai to get this. That son of mine wouldn't trust delivery services."

Umawang ang aking labi. The ladies giggled. Hindi ko alam na isa pala sa pinunta niya sa Dubai ay tungkol sa mga singsing na ito.

"A for Effort." Amara giggled.

Papa Caerus chuckled softly. "Congratulations, hija."

"Welcome to the Buenavista surname, Cresia." marahan na sabi ni Sky at niyakap ako. "I am so happy for you."

Amara became part of the hug. I broke out in soft laughter and wrapped my arms around them back. Mama Kathryne and Papa Caerus are looking at us with lips turned up, exposing their teeth for a pleased and proud expression.

"Ako rin. We are so happy for you, Cresia." si Amara.

Suminghap si Mama Kathryne. "I got to prepare for the engagement dinner tonight."

"I will help." mabilis na agad ni Amara.

"We will help, Mama. Except for Cresia." singit ni Sky. "Mag-relax ka muna with your Zeke."

Ngumiti ako sa kanila. They are the best people. Gusto kong tumulong sa plano nila pero natutuwa ako sa sobrang excited ni Mama Kathryne kaya hindi ko nalang pinilit.

A grand view came to life as I gently pushed the door open. I saw him doing some jumping rope skillfully. The sweat was dripping down from his head to his chiseled chest as he continued to smoothly jump in between the tap of the ropes to the ground and doing extra aerobics like rolling the rope with his right hand before jumping again.

Ngumiti ako ng dahan dahan habang nakatingin sa kanya. He is fond of going topless. He is currently donning only white pajamas, the brand of his boxers is readable on account of the protruding hem, and blue running shoes.

I crossed my arm and leaned on the doorway. He continued jumping on that rope, doing cross stunts and side stunts and even letting go of one rope and swinging it to the side before catching it again and jumping back at it.

"Wow." I whispered.

I am admiring my man while he is doing his cardio. Humihina ang paggalaw ng kanyang lubid hanggang pinatigil niya ito sa pamamagitan ng biglang pag-apak sa lubid.
