10 minutes into the drive along the streets of No-Name Town, Balin and Loona's taxi soon pulled up to the McDonald's that was close to his old home for lunch.
The taxi driver looked at the rear vision mirror and saw Balin and Loona snuggling up to each other in the car. He loved seeing this beautiful bond between the young adult and little boy so much, but knew they had to wake up sooner or later. So with a soft tap of the tempered glass behind him, he managed to wake them both up, with Loona yawning. Even in her human form, she still had razor-sharp teeth in her mouth, and the driver immediately noticed. But he just chuckled it off and thought it best to keep it to himself.
Loona then got out of the car first and tipped the driver as Balin got out next. And as it drove off, Balin then held one hand while she played with her phone in the other and he held it walking into the restaurant.
Funnily enough, only about a short number of people were eating in this restaurant. A surprising sight for the boy, since this one was close to where he lived and he'd walk down to see so many people and their families eat down here.
But it was a piece of cake for Loona, since it had not a lot of men to peek at her ass, her breasts, or perhaps any other part of her body. She was like Medusa; sexy one minute and scary the next. The difference between her and a hellhound like Loona was that if she saw them looking at her, her angry expression was enough to make them want to be turned to stone rather than the painful injuries or death they receive.
With Balin by her side though, somehow, she nearly felt protected. Normally, it'd be the other way around in this case, yet as one guy passed her by, she decided to shrug it off as she said a simple 'no thanks', showing him a neutral look on her face. A punch in the face would've made her feel better, but she knew she didn't want to harm the boy anymore than she already did. Perhaps it was... instinct.
All that aside, Loona sat Balin down at one of the tables away from the open, like near the booths.
"OK little dude, is there anything you'd like?" Loona asked him. "Can I have a chicken 'n' cheese burger, please?" Balin then asked her politely. "Oh of course you may." replied Loona. "Just stay right there and I'll be back in a bit, with both our meals."
"What are you having, Loona?" Balin asked her as she was about to leave. "Hmm..." she thought to herself for a moment. "I'm thinking of a... McHuman!" she sat back down, lifted his shirt, and started giving him little affectionate noms on his tummy, getting him to laugh right away. "No, I'll just get myself a salad." she chuckled afterwards.
Balin then looked mind-blown by what Loona had said. "A salad? You eat veggies too?" he gasped in surprise. "Well, yeah. Why?" "I assumed you were a meat-eater, since you're a... hellhound." Balin whispered that last part to her.
"Well, true. But you know I eat chocolate too, right? So that means we can eat anything other than meat. Besides, still not a wolf." Loona patted his little head. "I know, I know." replied the child. "So don't you worry about me, okay?" Balin then gave her a nod, before she left to order their meal at their kiosk.
