THAT AFTERNOON...
After a couple of hours, Loona was still having fun at the mall in Canberra with Balin, which she soon found out was its actual name.
Cheesy as it sounded, the hellhound still rolled her eyes in amusement.
Right now, the two were currently at an indoor play-place on the second floor called 'Mr. Wolf: the Game.'
It was like a laser-tag game, with a futuristic twist on the childhood game 'What's the Time, Mr. Wolf?', where kids aged 5-10 would dash through a maze, push buttons for tokens, and outsmart Mr. Wolf (A grown-up watching the game from a control room).
In today's case, as Balin joined a game, it was Loona who played Mr. Wolf.
With each button this group of kids pushed in the maze, they'd freeze and ask 'WTTMW?' through the headsets they wore, and Loona would say 'LUNCH TIME!' to those who failed to stay still until she gave them 'the time' to unfreeze.
Seeing each of those kids getting eliminated made Loona chuckle a little.
For a first-timer, Balin played like a pro. After placing a token into one of the buttons and pushing it, the walls opened to reveal a room full of flags, indicating the final level of the game was to quickly get the flag to the finish line without being eliminated.
So grabbing a flag, Balin dashed through the maze like a little hellhound, sniffing a quick route to freedom every time he froze, until everyone eventually made it to the exit.
"1st Place: PANDORA." said the computer voice.
Game over, Loona walked out of the control room to see the kids looking up at the scores on the TV.
"Who's Pandora?" asked a little girl.
"I don't know." replied Balin.
"Not me. Not me." all the kids repeatedly said to each other and themselves.
"ME!" one kid blurted out.
"Okay, let Mr. Wolf be the judge." Loona chuckled, and sniffed her way towards Balin before looking at his vest. "This kiddo!"
"YAY!" smiled Balin.
The other kids cheered and congratulated him, while 'Mrs. Hellhound' just gave him some gentle head-ruffles.
...
A few minutes later...
"Damn! Who knew such a game even existed?" Loona yawned out loud, walking out of the play-place with Balin.
"You haven't played What's the Time, Mr.-?"
"I don't need the full name of the game, bud." she interrupted with a chuckle. "I just didn't expect it to be so... intense."
"Intense? Me and my friends never played it like that before." replied the boy.
"It figures." Loona rolled her eyes with a grin. "Me? I can never see me and my friends played it before."
"I'm so sorry, Loona." Balin hugged her thigh.
"Hey, don't be. It's not like I haven't played it in Hell before." she flushed and patted his back, before stretching hers.
"Are you okay, Loona?" the boy asked, before hearing a crunch in her spine. "NOW are you okay, Loona?"
"Don't worry, that's just normal." Loona reassured him. "But what do you say it's time for a little R&R?"
The boy tilted his head, wondering what that word meant.
"Rest and relaxation?" She then grabbed out the Grimoire. "Since we're out, there's this spa back in Hell we could go to. One where-"
