As the night draped over Win and Bright's home, a subtle tension hung in the air, mingling with the scent of freshly placed candles. Win's American tourist visa had been secured, and now, with only a flight ticket standing between him and distant shores, their last evening together before departure took on a poignant hue.

Bright returned from his evening classes to find their living room transformed into a sanctuary of flickering candlelight. His eyes widened in surprise, taking in the tableau of carefully set bread, eggs, and fruits on the table.

"What's all this?" Bright's voice held a mixture of curiosity and admiration.

Win turned to face him, a small smile playing on his lips amidst the nervous energy that pulsed through him. "A farewell feast, perhaps. I leave tomorrow, and I wanted tonight to be memorable."

Bright approached him with a tender smile, pulling Win into an embrace. "You'll be back before you know it. Have a great time."

Win nodded. "Will you miss me?" he ventured in Bright's deep eyes, a touch of vulnerability in his voice.

Bright's response was teasing yet heartfelt. "What do you think?" His eyebrows lifted in playful challenge. "After all this effort, I'd be a fool not to."

With a chuckle, win hugged Bright, finding comfort in the familiar warmth of their shared affection.

The evening unfolded with simple pleasures: bread and butter, boiled eggs, and sliced fruits laid out in a rustic display. Win couldn't help but tease. "I originally planned something exotic, but I know you prefer to keep it light."

Bright laughed in agreement. "I appreciate the thought, even if my diet is less adventurous than your culinary skills."

Win chuckled.

"I will quickly go and change," Bright spoke and went inside the room.

Once he came back, he was in his comfortable pajamas, returning to find Win smiling affectionately. "Perfectly dressed for our candlelit dinner," Win remarked playfully.

Bright shrugged with a grin. "You know how lazy I am about dressing up. Life's best in a T-shirt and pyjamas."

Win squeezed Bright's hand gently. "Maybe someday, when you're a big celebrity, you'll have to trade those in for fancier attire."

Bright chuckled, unconvinced. "I doubt it. I'm all about comfort."

Their conversation flowed easily as they debated what to order for their main course, settling on pasta and Indian curry. Bright placed the order while they savored the simplicity of bread and fruits, each moment slipping by too quickly for Win's liking.

As the hour grew late, Win's restlessness became palpable, a knot of nerves tightening in his chest. Bright sensed his unease and suggested a change of scenery.

"Let's go for a walk," Bright suggested tentatively.

"Let's go," Win said smiling.

Outside, the night air was cool and crisp, a stark contrast to the warmth they left behind. Bright motioned for Win to join him on his motorcycle, a surprising invitation that spoke of spontaneity and a desire to make the most of their remaining time together.

"Oh! I thought we were going for a walk," Win remarked, taken aback but intrigued.

"We are," Bright assured him with a smile, "just not around here."

Bright led Win to his waiting motorcycle, the engine purring softly in the cool night air. As they rode through quiet streets, the city seemed to whisper promises of adventure and farewells unsaid.
