Chapter Forty- Four:

After the ceremony and dinner we retired to our new chambers, they were decorated with flowers and beautiful vines to celebrate the new royals. Because we were now King and Queen we got to have even bigger chambers, Thranduil insisted on this even though we told him our current ones were perfectly fine.

I walked over to the dresser and undressed before changing into a white silk lingerie set and had my ladies remove the hairstyle in my hair.
Legolas walked in and smiled seeing me sitting by the dresser. My ladies immediately stopped touching my hair and turned to face him, curtsying low to him before Legolas dismissed them. They finished removing my hair pieces and placed my crown on the red- velvet case. "Thank Cin, ladies", i said kindly before they left.
"My queen", Legolas said as he came up behind the chair and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, kissing the side of my face. I held onto his forearm and reached for the wine glass in front of me, taking a sip before putting it back and letting go of him. He walked to his dresser and changed into his sleep robes and climbed into our new King sized bed. I walked round the pillar, Legolas's gaze following me as i did so. I climbed into bed next to him and leaned over, holding the side of his face. He smirked and held the side of my face, planting a passionate kiss onto my lips. We kissed for a minute before i let go and kissed the tip of his nose and walked to the bed. Legolas followed and climbed into bed, pulling me towards him.

We laid in bed with his arm around my shoulders until i drifted to sleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling fresh and new, this new title had started to sink in and today i would find out what this involves.
Legolas was already awake and leaned over to kiss my forehead before getting up and changing into a long silver robe. It was different seeing him wearing kingly attire like his father but i coul definitely get used to it.
I then changed into a gorgeous navy blue and white gown and one of my new diadems and headed to the throne room.

We got let in by two guards either side of the throne room doors and walked slowly towards our newly designed thrones. I smiled and nodded my head at the many guards surrounding the thrones. Legolas sat in the big throne where his father would sit and slowly crossed his leg over one another, taking off his robe and letting it sit delicately around the seat.
I then bowed my head to him before taking a seat next to him, "Nin Aran", i said softly before the doors opened and Thranduil entered, bowing his head with his hand across his chest. "Nin siniath a aran!", he said joyfully. "Brennîl nin", i said courteously as i bowed my head. "You look lovely, dear", Thranduil said to me whilst kissing the ring on my hand. "Thank you, Ada", i said greatfully.

"You have some guests today from all across Middle Earth that have come to offer you gifts and congratulate the coronation", Thranduil said seriously. We nodded and Thranduil smiled and left the throne room. "I wonder who will come", i asked curiously. All of a sudden horns rang and Gimli entered as Lord of the Glittering Caves. "Gimli, Son of Gloin, Lord of the Glittering Caves your highnesses", One of the elves announced as Gimli entered with a group of dwarves behind him.
"My Lord", Gimli said bowing down before Legolas. "Gimli", Legolas said placing a hand over his chest and lowering his head. "My Lady becomes fairer and fairer every meeting", Gimli said now facing me. I laughed softly before reaching my hand out for Gimli to kiss my ring. Gimli presented a chest full of fabulous gemstones and crystals, so beautiful it was mesmerising to see. "Thank you, Gimli", Legolas said greatfully. The guards took the chest and placed it to the side, allowing other guests to enter and present their gifts.

Some time went by and it was late evening. "My lady, i retire for the night, will you join me ?", Legolas asked me reaching his hand across between the thrones for me to hold. I nodded my head and thanked all the guests before walking down to our quarters. We entered our bedroom and Legolas went to go bathe.
I walked over to the mirror and stared at myself, Queen of Mirkwood. I scanned my body from my crown to my long, braided hair to my extravagant gown then turning my head to go sit down and change into my nightwear. I slipped on my night robe before closing the curtains, admiring the sound of the rainfall outside in the forest. I slowly walked towards the bed, slipping under the covers, laying there gracefully. "Meleth?", Legolas questioned scanning the room before seeing me laying in bed. I slowly peeled back the silk sheet over my body to reveal myself underneath. Legolas's lips parted slowly, his eyes in awe. He walked over slowly in disbelief. I reached out my hand allowing him to holdi it as i lowered him down to sit beside me. I slowly took my robes off leaving me bare before his eyes. "Alena-". he began in a whisper leaning forwards. I held the side of his face as He trailed his lips up my forearm, "Legolas", i began. His eyes opened as he continued to scan his eyes over me. "allow me to carry you a son", i whispered softly. "bestow upon me a child", i said pulling his arm closer to me. Legolas's brows furrowed before he leaned in and kissed me hungrily but softly, travelling his hand down to my bare chest. He softly held my breast before pulling away to seek permission. Instead of answering i pulled him by the neck, wrapping my arms around him continuing the kiss. I slowly moved my hand to his belt and began to give him the signal to remove his trousers. He pulled them off leaving both of us bare before he lifted me up above the sheets and hovered above me, looking into my eyes, slowly entering me. I gasped silently, grabbing his hand. "Are you okay?", he said in his melodic, gentle voice. I nodded giving him the approval to move on. He slowly moved his hands up my thighs to hold onto my legs, beginning to move himself in me. I quietly moaned making him smile as he wanted to please me most. He began to quicken his pace as i dug my nails deeper into his thigh. "Legolas", i gasped between strokes. He began to hit the spot i liked most making my head throw back in ecstasy.  "I'm close", Legolas moaned softly speeding up the pace. I felt myself tighten as i climaxed, Legolas finishing soon after.

"Your so perfect", Legolas whispered in my ear as i lay under his arm in bed. I lifted my head up to him before rolling over to lean on my propped up elbows. I stared in his eyes, his strong hand moving the hair from my face behind me. "Leggy?", i asked curiously. He laughed silently before tilting his head slightly. "Yes, sweetheart?", he replied.  "Do you ever miss the day's of the ring?", i asked missing the thrill of our once adventurous life. Now that we lived in Mirkwood, Thranduil forbid us to leave unless absolutely essential, if so we would have an army of elves behind us. I missed walking through the forest's, the feasting in Rivendell and most of all the outside world - the good and the bad.
Legolas paused before raising an eyebrow, "No, mel nîn. It means i can stay here with you all day", he said as he tried to tickle me. I laughed before rolling back onto my back and pulling the cover's above my bare form. Legolas was now hovering above me, his muscular torso in my full vision. He leaned down and pecked my lips with a quick kiss before rolling back to my side and pulling me under his arm.
Sometimes i think he views me as a child, after all we did have many years age difference.
