"Marjorie?" Reece called out.
"Here my love." Marjorie asked, peeking around the corner in Reeces home. Marjorie walked up to him and gave him a hug.
"What is that for?" Reece asked, planting a kiss on her forehead.
"Nothing. Just you looked like you needed a hug." Marjorie replied, cuddled into his chest.
"Thanks, I guess I did need it." Reece said, pulling away from the hug.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Marjorie asked, moving stray blonde hairs out of his eyes.
"Um.." Reece started, eyes getting watery.
"It's okay. Come with me." Marjorie stopped him, dragging him over to his sofa and sitting down. Reece lay on top of her, head on her chest.
"I don't know what's wrong, I'm just not my usual self. Nothing happened, just having 'one of those' days I guess." Reece said, as Marjorie played with his hair.
"And that's perfectly fine. We can just sit here." Marjorie said, kissing the top of his head.

*a few hours pass by*

Marjorie just sat there holding Reece, occasionally planting kisses on his head, and rubbing his back when he did start talking.
"Do you want to watch something? Take your mind off of whatever is bothering you?" Marjorie asked, moving his chin up so he was looking at her.
"Yeah. That would be great, gorgeous. Put on whatever you want." Reece replied, reaching up and planting a soft kiss on her lips. Marjorie laughed, immediately knowing what she was going to put on.
"I'm putting on Greys Anatomy. It was my favorite show as a teenager, and it was there for me through tough times. It's my comfort, even though it has been the reason for many of my tears." Marjorie says looking at him, giggling at her last comment. Reece looked up at her, nodded his head, and cuddled back into her.
"I'm hoping this brings you some sort of comfort too. You know, if there's ever a time you don't feel like talking to me. Something that reminds you of me." Marjorie said, opening Netflix and starting from season 1.
"21 seasons?!" Reece exclaimed.
"Yep. Buckle up my love." Marjorie started laughing.

They sat there the rest of the night. Luckily it was the weekend so they didn't have to worry about work.

*spoilers for greys anatomy going forward*

"Derek is married to Addison??????" Reece shot up quickly, and shouted.
"Yes. This is just the beginning, love." Marjorie laughed at him, also getting up. Marjorie hit pause on the episode, getting up to grab two glasses of wine for her and Reece. Reece was pacing back and forth, asking Marjorie questions. "Are they actually married or divorced and she's hung up on him? Did he cheat on her? Did she cheat on him?" Reece kept going on and on.
"My love, I'm not spoiling anything for you. I've seen this show dozens of times and I wish I could watch it for the first time again." Marjorie said, handing him the glass of red she had just poured.
"Fine." Reece sighed, walking back over to the couch and hitting play.

*a few months later*

Reece and Marjorie are at the end of season 5, and Marjorie is curious to see his reaction to George dying.
"007. It's George! John Doe is George!" Meredith says on the tv screen.
"Wait." Reece says, sitting up. Marjorie looks at him, tears in her eyes. No matter how many times she's seen this show, she still cries at all the deaths.
"No. This can't be." Reece says, standing up. He sits down next to Marjorie, holding her hand as he watches the next few scenes. Marjorie starts bawling, and Reece looked over at her, teary eyed. Reece sees her crying, so he lets the waterworks go, and starts sobbing uncontrollably with his head in his hands.
"Reece it's okay." Marjorie says weakly, sobbing with him. The two of them lay there in silence, holding each other for comfort. Marjorie pauses the show, looking over at Reece.
"Damn it gorgeous, this show is fucking sad." Reece says, wiping his tears and looking back at Marjorie.
"I did warn you. I have an idea though to cheer you up." Marjorie says, standing up.
