As Reece hung up the phone, Autumn let out a sigh of relief. For many years of her life she watched Reece's fall apart. Constantly being dragged down by the people who were supposed to care and love for him. Autumn had only known Marjorie for a few years, but Marjorie never gave up on her. She was like the sister she never had growing up. Marjorie shows all the love in the world to her, and even though Autumn can never express it back, she does love Marjorie. And she was happy to see that Reece was giving her all the love he can give, while also protecting her. They deserve each other.
Autumn was knocked out of her own thoughts when she heard a faint laugh come from downstairs. She smiled, knowing that Winter had gone down there to cheer Marjorie up. She slowly crept down the stairs, and the laughs started to become louder. She peeked her head around the corner and saw Winter and Marjorie laughing at photos on Winters phone. She quickly smiled to herself before walking in. "What are you two laughing at?"
Both of them turned their heads to look at Autumn. She looked at Marjorie's puffy red eyes, she had clearly been crying, but at least she was laughing now. "I'm showing Marjorie her horrible drunken karaoke attempts." Winter spoke up. Autumn raised her eyebrow and walked to sit next to winter, she rested her head on his shoulder. Winter kept scrolling through his camera roll, causing everyone to laugh each time he scrolled.
"Why do you guys let me sing when i'm drunk?" Marjorie said embarrassed, she put her hands over her head and started laughing.
Marjorie's reaction caused Winter to laugh. "You usually are the life of the party." Winter said, causing Marjorie to lift her head up and lean back on the sofa. He scrolled to the next video, it was a video of Marjorie and Reece singing together. Marjorie's mouth widened. "I've managed to get Reece singing too!?"
"That's impressive." Autumn said bluntly, she then smirked. "Send that to me, my love, it'll come in handy for his fortieth."
After 15 minutes of scrolling through Winters phone, there was a knock on the door. Marjorie looked outside through the window and saw Reece's car. She smiled and looked at Autumn, "you called Reece?"
Autumn nodded in reply. "I thought you would have needed each other."
Marjorie smiled again, she got up from the sofa and headed towards the door. Before opening it, she took a deep breath in hopes that he wasn't mad at her. She then opened the door, her eyes immediately met Reece's. Before he said anything, he studied her face and noticed the redness beneath her eyes, he could tell she had been crying. "Marjorie-"
Reece was cut off by Marjorie immediately wrapping her arms around his neck, he responded by wrapping his around her waist and kissing the side of her head. They stood there hugging for a few seconds, enjoying the moment they are having together after their argument. She pulled him as close and she possibly could. "I'm so sorry." She mumbled into his chest.
Reece hugged her tighter and used one of his hands to gently smooth her hair. "I'm sorry too." He replied back. They stood there for a few more moments, before Marjorie pulled away to look at him. He kept his hands lightly on her waist, as she kept hers placed at the top of his arms. "Do you want to go home now?" He asked her.
Marjorie nodded. "Let me say goodbye to Autumn and Winter first." She then took his hand and brought him inside with her. Marjorie thanked Winter and Autumn for being there with her and they both said their goodbyes. They then hopped in their cars and drove back home.
