A few weeks later, Marjorie and Reece had Autumn, Winter, Charlotte, Mia and Carly over their house. They had helped them all move into their new home. They were all currently sat in the garden of their old house for one last time, taking a breaking from lifting heavy boxes. Reece, Mia, Charlotte, Winter and Autumn were currently going through an old box of Reece and Autumns childhood pictures that they had found buried at the back of his garage. All of them giggling along about how much they had changed.

Meanwhile, Carly and Marjorie were sat away from them talking. "When are you and Reece getting married?" Carly being Carly, asking the most unanswerable questions at the most random times. Marjorie choked on the Coke zero she was drinking. "Carly, my love, I can't answer that."

Carly sighed and sat back in her chair, she started thinking to herself for a second. "Who would walk you down the aisle?"

Marjorie raised both her eyebrows and looked at Carly, she then saw Carly's expression and realised she was being dead serious. "I don't know? Why'd you ask?"

"Well you don't get on with your family." Carly started, Marjorie silently agreed. "And Reece don't get along with his, so I was just wondering."

Marjorie sat back and thought, she couldn't believe Carly had her thinking about weddings. "I don't know, i've never actually thought about it." She shrugged. "But I don't need to think about it right now, it's still very early for us to get married, my love."

Carly frowned, she's always thought so highly of Marjorie and Reece, they were like second parents to her. They'd always make sure she felt safe and included, and they supported her every move. "Wait." Carly piped up. "What would I be at your wedding?"

Marjorie laughed. "Well if I do end up marrying Reece, and if he happens to get his own way, you'd probably be our flower girl."

"Awww, you'd let me walk down the aisle!" Carly said quite loud, causing Reece to turn his head and look at the two girls. Marjorie noticed Reece's attention being drawn towards them and quickly shushed Carly. "Oops sorry!" She said in a quieter tone. "But I can imagine it all though, me walking down in a purple dress, high heels, throwing petals–"

Carly started blabbing on, and Marjorie subconsciously nodded along and smiled at the thought. She then quickly snapped herself out of the fantasy she was thinking. "Speaking of high heels!" She cut across Carly, trying to change the subject. "I actually have a box of shoes upstairs that i've never worn, I was gonna give them to you. I can bring them down and you can try them on if you want?"

Carly smiled and nodded. "Yeah, please!"

"Alright, my love. Go join the others, i'll be back in a second." Marjorie then stood up, put her drink down and walked towards the house.

Carly skipped towards the others, she sat down right next to Reece and took the picture he was holding into her hands. "Oh my god! Is that you?!" She laughed.

Reece was caught off guard by Carly's fast actions. He laughed. "Where's Marjorie gone?"

"Oh, she's just gone inside to grab a box of shoes for me." She took another look at the picture. "You had a mullet?"

Reece frowned and snatched the picture out of Carly's hand. "It wasn't one of my proudest moments." He said, causing everyone to laugh.

"You're lucky it grew out quick enough for school." Mia chimed in. "That hair cut would have been the biggest joke of the school year." Mia teased. Reece and Mia's relationship had gotten better over the months, Charlotte seemed to have a good impact on her.

"Shut up, Mia."

In the house, Marjorie quickly stopped in the empty living room and looked at herself in the mirror. She sighed and started thinking about her mum. She hadn't spoke to her mum, or any members of her family ever since their celebration. However, she had been keeping a close eye on updates of their businesses. Turns out, it was going horribly downhill for them, which made Marjorie a lot more happier where she is now. She grabbed the necklace Reece bought for her and smiled. She was in a much better place in her life, and she couldn't have done it without the help of her chosen family.

They had supported Marjorie's every move, they'd always make her smile on her down days, they'd always check in on her, and they would all regularly meet up outside of work. She loved and appreciated them so much. Marjorie thought she'd never make it to a point in her life where she'd feel so much love being directed towards her. And yet here she is, moving into a brand new house with her boyfriend. A seventeen year old who she treats like a daughter. Autumn, who was like the sister she needed growing up. And of course, her best friends.

Marjorie smiled at herself in the mirror. She was happy with who she was, and she realised that everything will always be okay in the end. She took a step back from the mirror and headed towards the stairs. She was quickly pulled back when she heard a knock at the front door.

She turned around and headed backdown the stairs, she opened the door and expected it to be one of the men who were driving the moving vans. Marjorie was caught by surprise when she realised who it really was. "Hi, Marjorie."

"Mum?!"
