It was the next day, and Reece was already sat in his office waiting for Terrance to start his inspection. He had dropped Marjorie off at her nursery and given her the morning coffee. Terrance was due to show up around nine, so Reece had a good ten minutes to plan out what he was going to do.

Reece decided to walk out to the car park and greet him there. After 5 minutes Terrance had pulled up outside. Reece watched him grab the files from his car, but his attention was quickly drawn away from him when he got a text. It was from Marjorie. 'Please don't accidentally break your hand or something.' She said in the text. Reece quickly replied with laughing emojis and then put his phone away in his pocket, watching Terrance slowly approach.

Reece quickly faked a smile. "Hi there, im Reece, the manager." He greeted him.

"Ah, Reece." Terrance replied, holding out his hand to shake his. "I know who you are, i've worked quite close by your father for years."

Reece stared down at his hand for a second, he muttered "makes sense" under his breath at the mention of his father. He then firmly gripped his hand and shook his, Terrance was taken aback a little bit.

"You've got quite the grip." He nervously laughed, pulling away his hand and slightly shook it due to the quick ache he got. Reece hummed in response. "Shall we get started then?" Terrance asked, gesturing towards the nursery entrance.

Terrance tried to push in front of Reece, but he quickly held his arm out to stop him. "Actually.." Reece started. "I was thinking we walk in from the gates? Just so you get the... full experience." Reece faked another smile.

Terrance was at lost for words for a second, he'd never had this type of interaction before. "I- sure, lead the way." He stammered on his words.

Reece was trying his hardest to hide his smirk, he walked in front of Terrance and started walking towards the gates, him following close behind. As Reece got to the gate he gestured for Terrance to go ahead of him, and he did. Reece then followed behind him.

"I've never had this type of inspection tour before." Terrance laughed, breaking the silence between them.

Reece nodded, he then turned around and shut the gate behind him, locking both him and Terrance outside the nursery. "What are you doing?" Terrance said nervously.

"Making sure we aren't on nursery grounds as we have this conversation." Reece replied, his tone and body language had completely changed.

"What do you–" Terrance tried to speak, but was cut off by Reece holding up his hand, gesturing for him to be quiet, and once again, he did.

Terrance stood there for a second, nervously waiting for Reece to speak up. "I know what you did to my girlfriend, Marjorie?" Terrance froze on the spot, his face immediately giving away everything Reece needed to know. "Judging the way you're stood, you know exactly what im on about."

Terrance struggled to find his words for a second. "Reece, that was a long time ago–" Terrance once again trying to speak up, but immediately getting cut off by Reece. "Save it. I don't care when it was, you still did what you did."

Terrance just stood there, not knowing what to say or do at this moment. "You're disgusting, and you deserve nothing good you've ever archive." Reece slowly started to step closer to him. "If you ever go near Marjorie, or these nurseries again, your life will be made a living hell. Do you understand?"

Terrance looked up at Reece, trying to stand his ground. "I don't appreciate being threatened, but I understand." He once again started stuttering on his words. Clearly frightened for his life.

Reece slowly nodded, and started to look around his whereabouts. Terrance, who was still frozen on the spot spoke up. "Is there anything else?"

Reece brought his attention back to him, looking at him for a second. "Actually, yeah there is." Reece then wasted no time, he brought his fist up to Terrance's face and punched him, causing Terrance to stumble backwards and almost lose his balance. As Terrance was holding the side of his face in pain, Reece gently shook out the ache in his hand. "That was for Marjorie, im sure she would have loved to do that." He said.

Reece then turned around to unlock the gate, looking back at Terrance one last time. "Burn in hell, Terrance. You're an awful person." Reece said, he then walked away back into his nursery.

Terrance watched Reece walk back inside his nursery, he then quickly rushed into his car and drove off. Reece watched his every move from the window, he laughed, realising how pathetic of a 'man' Terrance is. He then picked up his phone to text Marjorie again.

'You'll be pleased to know, I didn't break my hand.'
