When Shen Wei awoke the next morning, he felt rested and went through to Yunlan's room to see how he was and help him if needed, but he had managed to dress himself and was almost back to normal. They both went down to breakfast and greeted Ava warmly before they sat down to their meal.

"I'm going to the office today." Yunlan stated as Wei dropped his cutlery in shock and turned to face him.

"You're not fit to work, if you move the wrong way your wound bleeds. What will you do? Answer phones? Paper work?" Wei was not pleased at the thought of Yunlan going back so soon but realised that he couldn't stop him.

"I swear not to leave the office and to sit and watch everyone else work." Yunlan said but he knew that if a call came in, he would answer it whether he was fit or not.

"The last time you were only supposed to sit and talk, we had an explosion. Trouble follows you ... Alright, on one condition. Guard Li goes with you and you don't leave the office."

Wei was determined but also worried which explained his angry reaction and Yunlan agreed to stay indoors but he never promised, because he couldn't guarantee that he would keep it. Ava watched the game of words between the two of them, both worried about the other and also not entirely honest because Yunlan would be the one to help Wei if he asked, whether he was confined to the office or not, and she smiled at them while she carried on with her cooking.

After their meal, Guard Li teleported Yunlan to work, surprising Chu who had exactly the same attitude as Shen Wei, except louder.

"What are you doing here, you're unfit for work." He said as he helped Yunlan to sit down in his smaller office, while Li left him and went to sit at his desk outside.

"Wei only agreed on the condition that I take Li with me and sit down all day. So help me to the reception desk and I'll answer phones and watch everyone, please Chu."

Yunlan said as he nodded to the guard who came to help him, and between the two of them they transferred Yunlan to the reception desk, much to the amusement of the staff. They were waiting to see how long it would take him before he swore down the phone.

Wei arrived at the university in good time and made his usual cup of tea, drinking as he stood looking out of the window. It was a beautiful calm morning and there were no unexpected marks on anyone's foreheads as he enjoyed watching the students walking past, recognising a couple of them who were in his class and they nodded to him. Wei finished his tea and rinsed his cup before he lifted his briefcase for his first lesson in history while he nodded and smiled to everyone as he walked along the corridor before the bell rang to start the day.

He entered and looked at his full class of students all keen to listen and learn from him and wished them good morning while he walked to his desk and put his briefcase down. They had been discussing Caesar previously and had expected to follow the same lesson today but when he faced them, their professor looked ill. The colour had drained from his face and he swayed while reaching for his seat to sit down before he would fall.
