Yunlan became aware of his surroundings. It was a soft comfortable bed with clean sheets and a fresh smell. He felt the small aches even before he moved, and when he opened his eyes, Gelan swam into focus. The last thing he remembered was listening for Wei's voice and he instantly attempted to sit up but was stopped, and helped with gentle hands as the more painful aches surfaced and he lay down again.

"Take it easy Yunlan, you have some deep bruising to your back where you hit the wall at some point during the blast. Lord Shen is alive, and is as well as can be expected. I had him moved here, look to your left. He's still asleep." Yunlan fought to turn on to his left side and gazed over towards Wei but he was more concerned by Gelan's words, 'as well as can be expected', and asked her what she'd meant.

"The Black Robe Spirit is in the Enigma Room. He must have been supressing some of Wei's memories which have resurfaced and he has been facing them for the last two days. Hopefully they're nearly finished now."

Yunlan was shocked that it had been so long since the blast and Gelan could see the worry in his expression before she spoke again.

"Chu is back at work, the guards are back at the museum and Black Robe is on vacation, everything is alright." She said and saw a smile forming on Yunlan's face as he looked towards Wei. She'd been in this situation before, well not exactly because it was years ago with a different pair, but some things never change, like her and Ava. They were immortal. A gift from the Black Robe Spirit and as long as he was alive, they were alive. Gelan left the room and phoned Ava to let her know that her boys were alright.

Wei moaned slightly and called out in his sleep while he tried to move, as he imagined that he was still in the box but the pain in his back was from the scorching hot air during the blast and not the rough wood, sadly his mind couldn't tell the different while he was dreaming. Yunlan struggled to move out of the bed to sit beside him but suddenly felt Ying helping him, after he had sensed Wei's emotions and teleported here.

"He's dreaming about the box, My Lord, the Spirit is not here to help him face the memories, and all we can do is understand what is happening to him. Let me help you move. You took a hard blow against the brick wall from the blast."

The guard helped him to move over to the seat where he could hold Wei's hand while he watched him, and thanked Ying before he returned to the museum. Yunlan cradled Wei's hand firmly as he concentrated on looking into his mind for the one thing that he desperately wanted, but had never spoken of to anyone, and found Wei's secret dream. Now all he had to do was make it happen, which would mean some reorganising but it was possible.

Later on in the afternoon, Shen Wei slowly opened his eyes and the first person he saw was Yunlan asleep on the chair beside him. Typical, he thought, that man can sleep anywhere and he smiled at him but never moved. He survived the roof, he thought. Gelan came in and was ready to speak but Wei hushed her and pointed to his dozing partner before he teleported him back to bed.
