Chu checked the guards as they slept, the only one missing was Guard Li, while the life energy of the gamer bounced from one side of the protection dome to the other, causing it to turn bright blue and flash with power. He was continually looking for a way to escape, which was impossible.
"Let me out or you'll pay for trapping me." The gamer threatened, but he wasn't in a position to carry out any threats.
Chu came through to see the criminal for himself.
"Is this him?" he said as he walked right up to the side of the dome and stared at him. "Yourbody will rot where you left it because you'll never see it again."
The gamer slammed against the inside of the wall, but Chu never blinked before he slowly turned his back on him and walked away. Yunlan stepped forward and looked at this cruel excuse for a human, concentrating as he stepped into his mind but all he could see was a countdown gauge.
Numbers going backwards and he realised that the gamer wasn't finished.
"Don't think I didn't plan for this, you will all die if you don't release me, all the would be nerds of the future. The city will never be the same again after it feels my wrath."
Yunlan spoke quietly to Shen Wei as he turned his back to the dome.
"He's planted a device somewhere and by the way he's talking, it was triggered after he wastrapped. I keep seeing countdown numbers in his mind, nothing else," he whispered. "Is there away we can find out without his help? Without him telling us?"
Wei thought about it. The gamer had called the victims, 'would be nerds' which made him think of the university.
"It could be the university, he called the victims, nerds. Plus he was bullied there. It's possible that the link to all his victims, is the university. What do the numbers look like in his mind? Describe them." Wei asked and watched Yunlan concentrate with his eyes closed as he tried to enter this crazy mind for the last time.
"It's not a clock face, it's rolling backwards, seconds, minutes, hours. Rectangular not round,black numbers, five hours, forty five minutes, and the seconds are in real time. Why the long time delay? Was he going to set it off anyway? What is so special about five hours? That would make it just before eight pm tonight." Yunlan told Wei but neither of them knew about any events happening tonight.
Chu approached them and asked if the criminal was going to be removed soon before Guard Yan woke up or the gamer would control him all over again, and Wei agreed, he could be taken to the Enigma room and held in the containment area safely. He left the room before he transformed into Black Robe, because he didn't want the gamer to know anything about him, and approached the dome staring at this psychotic killer, before he stepped through to share the same space.
