(Pt. 2 of Trial and Error. Gaven, Kayana, and Khan travel to Solier to stop an attack let's see how they do lol)

The trip to Alamore would be a long one. The first issue was landing unnoticed. Soliera had become infested with Vel Mere spies and Dredua alike from the inside, trying to gather whatever information they could, so they had to be careful.

Gaven landed the ship hidden near a small village in Burlok. It was easy to blend in and there were many places to hide things or people. It was close to the Vel Mere border, but all their attention would be on Alamore Stone, so it wouldn't be a problem.

Upon arrival, Kayana gave Khan a cloak that would cover his bindings. The cuffs were made of special ardonian stone, disabling a force user of their abilities.

He gave Khan a warning look as he unstrapped him from his seat. "Stay close to us, and don't say a word. Understand?" he said lowly. Khan swallowed, nodding.

"C'mon," Gaven tilted his head, beckoning them to follow as the ramp lowered.

The village was small but busy, and the market was just as lively as any other day. Gaven had never physically been to Burlok, but it was pretty much all he imagined it to be.

It was peaceful but lively, a simple place. People from Soliera, Vel Mere, Xavaro, and entirely different worlds all coexisted here, and the most of their problems with each other was how much they could bargain for kindling or vegetables.

The three of them walked together with their heads down and hoods up, and Gaven surveyed the market, looking for sustainable rides. They needed transportation for their trip to Alamore, and it would take them far too long to get there on foot.

He eventually found a group of orgeth tied together at a post, and he lead the group over to a wookiee he assumed to be the seller.

"I'd like to buy three orgeth, please." Gaven said to the wookiee, who turned around and stared down at him, his large frame looming over him.

The wookiee growled, saying something in shyriiwook.

"They aren't for sale."

Gaven glanced at the orgeth for a moment and looked back at the wookiee, pulling out a pouch  from under his cloak. "I can pay you double what those men are bargaining for your other stock." he gestured to two human men hovering over his pack of cavaween.

The wookiee considered him for a moment, thinking, then nodded. Gaven handed him the pouch, and he cautiously looked through the credits, counting them.

After a minute he closed the pouch and nodded to Gaven. "They're yours."

Gaven gave a nod back and walked over to the orgeth. He stroked the neck of one of the steeds, who softly snorted.

Kayana tied one orgeth to another with a lead, then looked at Khan. "Get on, and stay close."

"Right," Khan struggled a bit with the binders, but managed to pull himself up into the saddle, wobbling a bit and trying to find a balance. Kayana got onto the second orgeth that was tied to Khan's, securing the lead to the horn of his saddle, and Gaven pulled himself up and onto the third one, urging her forward and bringing up the front of the group.

They rode away from the village, beginning their joinery to Alamore.

It was a long trip, and the weather wasn't the best to be trekking in, but it was their best bet since they only had a week left to prepare for the attack. Thunder roared in the distance as gray clouds blocked out one of the suns. It was rarely ever cold in Soliera, but when it rained, it was mucky and humid.
