(Kind of continuation of Spring Celebration from these guys perspectives)

Once they'd arrived, it was quieter than usual. Much quieter.
Kayana let his book rest on the counter nearby while putting his shoes away. Gaven hadn't said a word since they'd left the park, just followed. Kayana felt strange. He usually never clung to him this much.

They sat on the couch for what felt like hours, not saying anything. Gaven's head rested on his shoulder. He'd stopped crying, but his eyes were red and puffy. He opened his mouth to say something, and Kayana lifted his head a bit.

"Can I tell you something?" his voice was small and quiet. Kayana never heard him like that before.

"Yeah, anything." He shifted a bit to be facing him without disturbing Gaven's position. The other boy looked like he was at war with himself, trying to find the right words. When he finally did speak, Kayana could tell that his hands were shaking as he dug his nails into his own wrist.

"I..." he swallowed hard. Kayana waited patiently, giving him the time he needed.

"I can't─" he started, and his voice cracked, his lip quivering. He closed his eyes tight, taking a breath. "That night, when I went to that party..." he paused, and Kayana could see the shame and guilt written all over his face. Seeing him like that made his heart shatter into a million tiny pieces.

"You don't have to─"

"Just, listen." Gaven interrupted. Kayana shut his mouth, nodding. "I didn't drink anything, I know that I didn't." he insisted.

Kayana blinked, and Gaven took a deep breath. "But... I was drugged."

Kayana's heart dropped.

"Khan was─" he bit his tongue, his eyes turning glossy. "At the time I didn't remember much. I couldn't talk or move... but, I could remember seeing him."

He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His stomach twisted, and he felt like he was going to be sick.

"And, he kept talking, and then─" he squeezed his wrist, his nails indenting his skin and turning it red. "It was dark and quiet. I saw him standing over me." he sniffled.

"Gaven..."

"He was on top of me, and─ and..." his voice wavered, his body trembling. Kayana didn't want to think about what that meant.

"It's not your fault," he promised. He didn't want to believe this was real, it was too awful. It was something straight out of a nightmare.

"I didn't mean to let it get this far." his voice cracked.

"It's okay, you didn't do anything wrong," Kayana reassured him, and Gaven shook his head.

"I didn't push him away, I didn't say no..." his eyes burned. "I let it happen."

"He took advantage of you," he said, and Gaven was silent, not meeting his gaze. "It's his fault, not yours."

"I didn't want it," his eyes were glued to the floor as he quivered.

"I know," Kayana nodded, pulling him closer. Gaven let him, leaning into his side. He curled up and pressed his face into his neck.

"He ruined my life." he croaked. "And now I have nothing."

"That's not true," Kayana insisted. "You have your sister, your brothers... and you have me."

"I'm sorry," he sobbed, and Kayana pulled him close, gently rocking back and forth. "I'm sorry I was an asshole to you."

"I don't care about that. I care about you." he said soothingly. "None of that matters."

Gaven's voice was muffled against him, "I don't want to remember."
