"Have mercy on yourself and please, don't hurt yourself, Jungkook..."
Jimin took a deep breath and left.

In the morning, Jungkook's POV
The harsh morning light pierced through the open curtains, landing directly on my face. I winced, slowly blinking my eyes open. Every muscle in my back ached — I had slept in the most awkward position, slumped beside the bed like a lifeless shell.
I shifted slightly, groaning under my breath as I tried to stretch. That's when a sharp pain shot through my hand.
I looked down.
My fist was still clenched, and blood had soaked through my palm, dripping slowly onto the white bedsheet. The sheet itself was stained deep crimson — like a silent witness to the storm I endured last night.
I exhaled sharply.
"Ahhh…" I hissed in pain as I tried to open my hand. The wound reopened instantly, blood trickling anew. I quickly clenched my fist again to stop it.
Dragging myself up from the floor, I staggered toward the wardrobe. I pulled out the small first aid box. Sitting on the edge of the bed, I wiped away fresh blood. Then, without flinching this time, I cleaned the wound and bandaged it.
I stared at my wrapped hand for a moment and then I remembered what happened at night.
I took a deep breath, shook my head. Then I checked the time — it was already close to office hours.
I stood up and went to get ready. A crisp black shirt, slacks, blazer. Polished shoes.
I walked downstairs with my coat in one hand, adjusting the cuff of my sleeve on the other. As I entered the dining room, I saw Jimin already seated, finishing his breakfast.
I sat down across from him, quietly pouring myself tea.
His eyes met mine — but only briefly. Then his gaze dropped to my bandaged hand.
"Jungkook… what happened to your hand?"
I didn't look at him. Instead, I focused on my cup.
"Nothing."
Just a single word. Heavy, empty, final.
Jimin didn't press. He looked down again, took a deep breath, and continued eating silently. Maybe he knew. He heard everything. But like always… he respected the silence I wrapped around myself.
I looked at him again and asked, "Where's Dad?"
"Dad is not going to the office today. He said he's resting."
I nodded and finished the last bite of my toast. The silence between us was thick, but strangely comforting. We were two people who didn't need many words — our bond didn't demand them.
I stood up, grabbing my coat.
"I'm heading to the office."
Jimin downed the last sip of his coffee and followed suit, adjusting his own blazer.
"Take me with you."
No more words were exchanged. I stepped outside, the morning air cool against my skin. Jimin walked beside me quietly.
And we left — just as the world was waking up.

On the other hand, Bella's POV
Eva was still sleeping soundly when I woke up. The sun had just started to rise. I sat up, stretched, and glanced at the time. I leaned over to Eva and nudged her gently.
