"You only belong to me, my dear Heaven… understood?"
He whispered the words — dangerous, deep, and possessive.
Then, just as casually, Jungkook smirked and leaned back into his seat, buckling up as if nothing had happened.
Bella slowly opened her eyes, her chest rising and falling with rapid breaths. Her pulse pounded wildly in her ears. She turned to look at Jungkook, needing to understand what had just happened, but he had already faced the road again, his expression unreadable as he calmly restarted the engine.
She quickly looked away.
Eyes shut tightly, she tried to compose herself. Her hand moved instinctively to her chest, fingers curling over the thundering beat of her heart.
"Calm down, you damn it!!" she scolded herself silently. Breathe. Just breathe.
The rest of the drive passed in thick, heavy silence.
When they finally pulled up to the house, Bella unbuckled her seatbelt and stepped out of the car without a word. She didn't dare glance back. Her footsteps quickened, and she disappeared inside.
Jungkook, still behind the wheel, watched her rush away with a quiet chuckle. His fingers tapped the steering wheel lazily before he stepped out and followed her inside, a soft smile still playing on his lips.

Two days later
Jungkook had resumed going to the office, while Bella remained at home. Jeon had informed them earlier that he'd booked their flight to London for the weekend, encouraging them to stay there as long as they liked.
The idea lingered in Bella's mind like an unanswered question. She had started quietly trying to accept this relationship — because lately, Jungkook's behavior had shifted. He wasn't angry, arrogant, or cold anymore. So, she decided to give him a chance.
That night, Bella sat at the back of the yard, cradling a warm mug of coffee in her hands, her eyes drifting toward the night sky. It was late — too late — and Jungkook still hadn't come home.
When Jungkook finally did return, he went straight to the bedroom. The house was quiet. He entered, glanced around, and noticed Bella wasn't there. A quiet sigh escaped him. Without much thought, he headed into the bathroom to shower. The exhaustion from the day caught up to him quickly, and as soon as he lay down on the bed, he drifted off into a deep sleep.
Bella returned from the yard moments later, unaware that Jungkook had already come home. As she entered the room, her steps slowed. "Huh… When did he get back?" she whispered to herself, surprised to see the lights on and Jungkook asleep on the bed.
She stepped closer, instinctively quieter as she approached him. Her gaze softened.
There was something peaceful about the way he looked while asleep — his face relaxed, almost childlike, as he hugged a pillow close. A tiny smile tugged at her lips. He looks like a baby, she thought. So innocent…
Carefully, she pulled the blanket up over him and then moved to her side of the bed. Her eyes landed on the barrier of pillows she'd placed between them days ago. She stared at them for a moment, then exhaled slowly and gathered them all, setting them on the couch.
With a small flick, she turned off the lights and slid under the covers.
Lying on her side, she found her eyes drawn to Jungkook's sleeping face again. Her thoughts swirled, quieter now, as Jimin's words echoed in her mind,
> "He's not a bad person, Princess... look at him once, you'll understand everything."
Without realizing it, her eyes closed — and sleep gently claimed her.
